I'm having a disagreement with a buddy of mine over whether or not Cotto almost knocked Clottey down with the jab thrown off the ropes about 5 seconds into the video (12th rd).....what do you boys think?

He stunned him but thats about it, would have to follow it with some more punches to knock him down

I'm not claiming he was seriously hurt just he's knees buckled to the point where he was almost floored with a jab similar to the one thrown in the first round that dropped Josh. Cotto's got a pretty stiff stick lmfao!

Cotto has great power in his left hand, it a pretty stiff jab he throws, and clottey kept coming forward so Cotto's jab stunned him and indeed knocked him down in the 1st. I had Cotto winning the fight btw. Clottey just didnt do enough, and the KD won Cotto the match.

Incredible, but this round was a plot of what happened during the whole fight.... Cotto boxing, while JC crying and trying to get a free xtra point instead of standing up to his duty!!!

Yeah I also had it 6-6 with Cotto edging it because of the KD.

very well timed shot. he threw it right as clottey was resetting and starting to come forward. good thing clottey's leg wasn't injured like he acted, he might have gone down.

He didn't stun him, but he he timed that jab well enough to knock him a little off balance.

****in clottey falling down after that tap to the back of the head. i would really like the guy if he wasn't such a crybaby/always trying to get points deducted from his opponents for no reason. i mean come on, man. you're a fighter, quit bitchin.

Just another will timed jab by Cotto. Clottey opened himself up to throw an overhand right/straight just as Miguel pushed that left hand in. Clottey threw himself off balance with his own momentum.

I hope to see Cotto use his southpaw stance more in the Pac fight. It would really keep Pac guessing.

same here, verz similar outcome to HAtton Colazzo where the KD in the 1st made the difference in the outcome
