Pacquiao would not fight hard for 12 rounds against Floyd. He'd be KO'd in 8.

 

Pacman is not flat footed like DLH showed, he moves constantly and gives odd angles to deal with when he's not overly on the offense. In such circumstances, the jab alone won't help.

If PBF and pacman both win their fights...I'd be inclined to favor Pacman against Floyd myself.

One thing is to say that you would favor Floyd and another is to say that you can't imagine Williams beating him.

As of late Floyd's workrate has been too low. THat's no problem against someone like Marquez or manny who is smaller and Floyd can keep on the outside with his jab and lead right. Against Williams it's a whole different story.

Williams has an 8 inch reach advantage over floyd and throws hundreds of punches per round. Floyd could not simply be defensive or he would plain out lose by being outworked. He would need to put some punches together and land the harder shots.

 

But......PW rarely takes advantage of his huge reach advantage because he loves to fight on the inside, he just can't help it which means that he would be vulnerable against PBF if he does so.... PBF would just counter and move all night while PW is moving inside !

No. It's too much of a risk for Floyd to engage Pacquiao and he knows that. Pacquiao is at his best when he's engaged in a toe to toe fight. And about Pacquiao slowing down, won't happen either. Pac get's faster and stronger as the rounds progress. Pacquiao will KO mayweather and somewhere in between the rounds, Pac will hand down PBF's first ever Knock down. After that, it will be a cat & mouse chase around the ring then PBF will be in his own dream land.
