Bull****! ali/liston 2 was no fix, liston may've quit after the KO realising he had no chance of beating this man and bitched out like the first fight, but its just bollocks to say it was fixed biggest fixed was robbing Hank Armstrong of his forth title in as many weights at middleweight.
good call, that was outragious and was a massive fix but doesn't have the same relevence as a pro fix
Ahmet Oner, rigging every aspect of Danny Williams' fight with Oner's HW prospect. The most unbelievable, irredeemable act I've ever seen in many years of boxing.
Pfft, he had never been Ko'ed before, and got floored by a weak jab/hook to the face, sprawled on the floor, realising how dumb he looked, got back up, and then the ref prematurely ends it... FIX.
It depends.... are you talking actual fight fixing - losing on purpose, carrying an opponent that you should blow away... Or robberies - whether in the Olympics, world title fights etc?
well I guess on the world stage, i.e world title , 2 prestige boxers, and via a KO, not down to judge decision i.e Liston , Ali 2, I just can't believe that punch did all that to Liston who had never been Ko'ed, and in the 1st round, horrible.
