Jefferies can be as big as Hatton was due to his massive fan base already.... maybe even bigger?

Haye can be as big as Lewis if he at least beats Valuev.

Froch can be the next Nigel Benn type, only less likeable as a human being.

Khan won't get much bigger than he already is.

DeGale, Groves and Sutherland can have those Benn-Eubank type encounters but we'll have to see.

Not sure about Fury but he has alot of potential.

Frankie Gavin in my opinion takes it in talent though.... he's just so ****ing mature and talented for such a new pro in the game! I don't know how popular he will be but I see him as the next Mike McCallum type.... patient and skillful.... but deadly as a viper!

Oh yeah, Kell Brook, Nathan Cleverly and Jamie Moore all have great potential.... but Brook I can see going the furthest personally.

Kell Brook will be the best fighter Britains seen in decades IMO. Don't know if he has the personality to be a household name like Hatton though.

Saunders possibly has the personality to become a sort of ricky hatton type figure. Think he will be elite too.

I think Jeffries has a good chance to be a marquee name if he keeps improving. He is already very popular, he definitely has likeability - very important to the casual boxing fan, plus he has a big punch - which definitely helps add a bit of excitement.

In the short-term, I think Haye has the biggest chance of becoming a big marquee fighter, he is exciting to watch.

Longshot, Tyson Fury, he has a big personality, no fear and has power in his punches. I would love to see him develop and improve.

I agree with that completely but I would put Gavin up with Brook also, just a bit later on though.

Yep I agree with this - add DeGale to the mix, because he has that personality required to be a marquee fighter.

I remember reading an interview with Terry Edwards in which he said that Gavin had hands down the best boxing brain he had ever seen. You could see that in his last fight and see in him in the amateurs the way he picks his shots. In his first pro fight you didnt get the chance to see it because he was simply steam rolling the guy but I reckon as he steps up in class he is just going to pick guys a part.

    Looking forward to it.

Things aren't looking too bad for Boxing over here....Khan, Froch, Kell Brook, Cleverly, Degale + other olympians...not to mention David Haye if he actually gets a fight! Also other speculative talents (gotta wait and see) like Fury. Just a few months ago I was feeling a bit dejected with our boxing scene but it doesn't seem so bad actually!

Kell Brook and Billy Joe Saunders get my vote, James DeGale seems to slap wen he throws punches still fights like an amateur, i think Saunders has settled to the pro game straight away.

He could have a decent future, but he needs to be managed really well. (He's doing good so far). It's safe to say that he isn't going to be a huge puncher at 175lbs. He's tall at the weight, so boxing skills and stamina will be his keys to success.

What we don't know is how will he react to being tagged and can he fight under pressure against a banger.

He would be a good bet for European, WBO level. He really needs to improve a lot to be truly at the top though. Time will tell.

People are really talking about him now.

Kell Brook will be world champion within the next couple years, i hope Warren takes his time with him!!! I rate cleverly HIGHLY.. He should go for a weaker world champion and build he could himself up, as the division is weak. I do believe he could become p4p number1 light heavy!!!

James DeGale is no way near the level of Jefferies & Sutherland.. He will be found wanting when he steps up!! I've watched Groves Spar on Youtube and i must say he looks impressive!

Frankie Gavin.... Quality operator, not sure if he's with the right trainer to bring him along!!!

Last but not least Anthony Small.. he might not be as naturally gifted as the above but hate him or love him, he's good.
