If the site would let me search that far back I would. You picked Oscar to win why lie about it now? Because it doesn't fit your pathetic hate filled agenda.

prime ODLH would whoop floyd. in his prime the guy had a hell of a punch, a hell of a chin, and he would have had absolutely nothing to worry about fighting floyd (not that he really did when they did fight). he would have chased him around the ring and battered him for 12 rounds to a UD.

Stand behind your pick and show some balls for once in your life. You made the pick now own up to it.

So much rubbish is coming in this thread. The truth of the matter is prime for prime and just about at any time they would have fought PBF would beat Oscar simply because he is and has always been the better fighter. This is not to denigrate ODLH who is good fighter in fact he was a very good fighter who was very popular(at least in some circles). However when you look at their fundamentals PBF is better and was more dominant in higher class. In higher class ODLH's performance level dropped. I can accept some people not liking PBF which is their prerogative but you cannot doubt his fighting ability. ODLH has always been bothered by speed and skills.

lateral movement, speed and a good defense are oscars kryptonite because he just simply never cut off the ring. He wasnt that smart a fighter freddie roach admitted as much himself and said oscar has mostly got by on his fundamentals. Prime for prime any weight floyd wins the lower in weight the more one-sided it gets
P.S the oscar floyd fight was a clear win for floyd 9-3,8-4 and this was at 154
The myth about oscar's jab is just that a myth he only used it consistently in two rounds its not like he was dominating with it

I think Mayweather is a better boxer than De La Hoya at any weight.
However in his prime De La Hoya was very good. Maywether can also be a slow starter.
I can see De La Hoya winning the early rounds 1-4 and Mayweather taking the late rounds 8-12. Rounds 5-7 could go either way and would be the key to the fight.
I think Mayweather wins a close decision on the scorecards but will finish stronger than De La Hoya.
