How would Randy do against Fedor?

As great as Fedor has been....people seem to ignore the fact that he hasn't faced a true test since the CroCop fight.

Lately, Fedor has had it easy.....not being very active and facing guys that stand little chance of threatening him.

Granted,...a prime Fedor beats any heavyweight who's ever lived.

But is this a prime Fedor?

He looked as vulnerable as I've ever seen in the first round against Arlovski. Sure, he scored the spectacular KO........but we all know other than his striking, Arlovski isn't and never was special.

in the past 4 years....Fedor has wiped his ass with Andre, Sylvia, Lindland, Choi, Hunt, Coleman and some fat black piece of **** that was submitted by BUTTERBEAN!

His overall competition level has been pathetic since Cro Cop,......and considering the state of the division anyway.......that in and of itself is pathetic.

Don't think for a minute that Couture or Nog don't stand a chance against Fedor because all I know is Fedor hasn't fought and beat a guy that good since 05

 

Fedor eats Randy up. One can never count out Couture who has a tremendous heart but his style of clinching plays into Fedors sambo. Randys got better boxing but he has no kicks to keep Fedor at a distance. Fedor batters him standing up, the speed difference is just so great that it makes up for Fedors lack of technical striking.

People aren't giving Couture enough credit, he's a very smart fighter and his dirty boxing/greco is perfect for the cage. Father time beats Randy now, but a few years ago I see Couture keeping Fedor up against the cage and holding him there for a decision. Either way I wouldn't put $ on it, but Couture beating Fedor is not far fetched. It's going to take a smart, cautious fighter to beat Fedor, one wrong move and you're done (see Andre Arlovski).

 

Sylvia was top ten and Arlovski was ranked at #2 when Fedor beat them.

Also, it's not Fedor's fault that he didn't have more big fights. The fight with Couture never happened because the UFC send their lawyers after Randy, and we all know what happened to the Barnett fight.

 

In Affliction Banned when Fedor said he wanted to fight Randy, I got excited. I don't think Randy would win but it would be a fight would have a lot of meaning.

 

RIP Randy.

 

Fedor would destroy randy, Fedor is a much more intelligent fighter and better submission fighter than nog - Fedor would stop him within 1 round.
