give your true honnest oppinion when i ask you if you THINK margarito used the plaster of paris in his fight with miguel cotto?..first let me tell you that yes i think margarito cheated and my one boxing wish is for them to prove he cheated and erase cotto's only loss to margacheato.... but Some people may say of course he didn't because he took off his gloves after the fight and exposed his hand wraps.. if he was wearing the casts why would he show every one his hand wraps after the fight?? BUT what those people probably dont know is that the casts are placed under the fighters handwraps so even if he took off his gloves that means nothing because you couldnt see them any way.. im sure there are other reasons why people may think that margarito cheated and even some people who dont think he cheated at all.. what are your thought on this subject??

I look at it this way. Why would he try to cheat against Mosley(after he lost to Cotto) but not against Cotto. I really think Margarito got really frustrated after losing to Williams and that when the cheating started. I remember Cotto and Margarito talking about fighting and Tony preferred to fight Williams. Then, after the loss he called Cotto and Cotto told him: "No way Jose, you have no tittle now". Tony realized how much money he was gloing to lose and he started cheating to get a another tittle.

IMHO, I believe he cheated only because this was THE BIGGEST FIGHT of his career! Ask yourself if the Mosley Fight was MORE important than the Cotto fight. If you say yes you know you're being disingenuous. Cotto was undefeated and working his way up to fight either Pac or Floyd, even though Floyd was "retired". If we use the motivation factor, it would have to be the Cotto fight. Again only my opinion but beating Cotto put him on the MAP.

No point on dwelling on it because we will never know and this is come from someone who's a die hard Cotto fan.

No proof why dont people accuse him of doing it against Paul Williams? The thing to note is that Cotto's punches did nothing to Margarito. Paul Williams could not put him down either. I think Shane beat him becuase the entire incident messed with Margarito's mind compounded with the fact that Shane is still one of boxings finest. By the way I think Shane beat Cotto--Cotto is not as good as people think.

still doesnt change the facts, there is not a shred of evidence before the mosley incident that shows margo cheated in previous fights, now personally, do I have my suspicions? Yes......but I'm also a person of Facts before beliefs....

Whether Margo had loaded gloves or not does'nt have to do with him having one of boxing best chins.

And no Mosley lost to Cotto. No way did Mosley win 7 rounds in that fight, I know your a bitter Margo fan who hates the fact that Cotto beat Mosley but at least give Cotto that well deserved victory.

    No.

Face it Cotto fans, your boy lost not because of plaster, but because he got tired from running around the ring and ended up taking too much punishment.

Not as good?? Could you explain that? He fought Mosley, Margo and Clottey. By your own admission you say that Mosley is still one of boxing's finest but Cotto beat him. But let's say Cotto didn't win that night, would you have scored it a draw or a split decision for Mosley ? If you do then you'd have to admit that Cotto is one of the finest boxer's in the world. Logic would state YES. Don't you think??

He fought Margo, whether he cheated or not is inconsequential to the argument, for 11 ROUNDS before he took a knee! And fought another MORE DIFFICULT, STRONGER and BIGGER opponent with a gash over his eye for 9 ROUNDS.

So again I ask, what do you mean when you say "he's not as good as people think." ??

    Respectfully yours

    Yes.

If he attempted to cheat against Mosley in a fight he's a huge favorite expected to win the "tune up", as they considered it, what makes you think he won't do so in his first megafight and his last chance at stardom when he fought Cotto?
