Let's see if he gets past Jennings first, I say.

Nine stoppages in a row, but against what, exactly?

Has his chin been tested - other than supposed brutal sparring sessions with Junior Witter?

Are you referring to Junior Witter by any chance:think

As for Kell Brook v Cotto i think Kell is a year off taking on the big boys. He needs to up his competition as Beecho says before even thinking of going in the same building as Cotto.

Nothin wrong with the lads confidence thats for sure and nothin wrong with him using the Cotto fight as a marker and IF he does a number on Jennings then it's inevitable that comparisons will be drawn. I peronally think he has the talent to go all the way. Good luck to the kid.
Really looking forward to the Quigley-Smith fight also.Has the potential to be a classic.Paul Smith comes across as a sound lad and I hope he can pull it off.

I'd pick Brook to beat Cotto.:D

Just give him a world class opponent first like Quintanta (not Collazo) to test him and then give him his shot....

I think Quintana would beat Brook easily at this point.

Brook leaves himself wide open when throwing his punches, Quintana would counter the **** out of him as he did to Williams in their first fight.

Needs to be carefull, the line between confidence and arrogance is very fine.

Saw this on the tube yester. He's confident- don't take it out of context, everyone, as he always comes across as a really grounded fella. I love the way he said that he wanted Jennings before he moved to the European level, he should be totally commended for that, IMO.

He's obviously a few fights away from world level and he's a long way off of Cotto's level yet. I wouldn't call him arrogant, though- he just believes in himself and who could blame him?:good

If only a few more British fighters were like that. COUGH!!! Hatton and Calzaghe!:D

That's one reason i like Haye so much.... loved the way he dealt with Warren to get the Enzo fight! the crying welshmen at the O2 arena was pretty epic too! some of them were pretty racist to Haye in the crowd so they had to be taught some manners....

If Brook had been in the ring with Cotto instead of Jennings a few month back, it would of been the exact same outcome.

He might beat Jennings a bit quicker than Cotto did but to be fair Cotto didnt really get out of 1st gear in that fight. He could have had Jennings out of there anytime he wanted.

Looking forward to this fight all the same though coz Jennings has been a great domestic fighter for years and has a good enough defence to perhaps take the kid into the later stages
