I imagine he's still a threat in the same way he always was , if you stand and trade with him chances are you're gonna get hurt , but he moved too slowly as a 20 something that isnt going to have improved.

Problem for Tua is that the worst type of fighter for him is tall with good straight punches and look at the guys at the top .........

Frank - Ike got hit bigtime - and survived. Ended up going crazy in the head.

Govan - I think a fight against Sam Peter would be ideal for Tua. A lot of $$$$
    and interest in that one.

Oh yeah , a fairly slow footed hooker like Peter could make for a great battle , to be honest I think even this Tua if properly focused and reasonably in shape would beat Peter. Tua has genuine power I was never convinced that Peter hit as hard as people tried to make out.

As I said though the Klits ( who I dont rate as highly as some ) are sadly all wrong for him, It would be Lewis all over again i fear.

I'd deffo still watch him though !

You may be right about the Klits. I still think a very fit, hungry Tua could give Wlad
a real fright. But think of Tua against Arreola, Haye, Ruiz, Peter or any of those guys!
I think all of them may be in trouble. Don't you?

Pff man , I've slagged Wlads chin and lack of desire for battle as much as anyone on here , but Wlad knows how to use his height and reach very very well. Its true that someone who hit like Tua did could certainly put Wald to sleep but I just cant see Wlad letting him get close enough to do it. David had the power to KO Lennox yet he spent 12 rounds walking into left hands , I'm afraid the same would happen here.

but yeah anyone else in the division who doesn't have the second initial K is a fight worth watching (Ruiz aside unless Tua sparks him in 19seconds again ! ) . Arreola would be fun , Haye could be the real nail biter , both big hitters one fast as you like but with a shaky jaw and one tough as teak but as slow as teak too, who knows what would happen there ??

I agree, Govan. Most of those fighters would have terrible trouble with
a fit and hungry Tua. It just shows where he should be in the rankings!!
Inactivity has been a great bane on his career.

The only tall fighter Tua lost to was Lewis. Ike didn't fight at range. And Byrd was too quick countering him. He's only lost THREE times. But yeah, Klit would fight Tua just like LL would. Big problem. And Tua has never been good getting inside.

I think he has been OK getting inside when he was lean and hungry. THAT is the
Tua we need to see again.

if sanders can hurt wlad an in shape 36yo tua can. like everyone has mentioned, a man with a chin and punch is always dangerous.

A little more dangerous than usual to a man like wlad, dangerous enough to make it entertaining, even if he (wlad) is sweeping the fight, you'll know all it will take is one flush tua shot to change the course of the fight. So you'll know a fight like that will good until the end, whether the end is a ko or decision.

I think more than anything, I HOPE tua can comeback to make things a little more interesting at hw.

Ill go ahead and put myself out there. I think Tua is gonna get one more title shot if he STAYS, in shape, and active this time.
