RJJ by 175lb weightclass...RJJ melting down to make 175 ruined him for several years.

Yes. I think it was more due to JMM than Campbell, because Diaz looked great against JMM till he was starched and then he was much worse against feather-fisted Paulie.

Mosley did ruin him. Firstly he showed that he can be KTFO and secondly that fight lead to his downfall. Maragrito was ruined by the Mosley fight, exposed in every way and form.

Yeah, I think Roy runied himself. He should have retired or stayed at HW. If he had lost to a HW after Ruiz, it would not have put nearly the same tarnish on his career.

Another thing is, when your chin finally gets cracked like that, it's usually more KO's to follow and all down hill. Mosley landed massive punches in that fight.

We won't know the residual effects of that fight until he enters the squared circle again.

Cool avatar. I'm really looking forward to the fight. Marquez looked real good in 24/7.

Lamon Brewster and Sergei Liakhovich ruined eachother in the same fight. Neither has been the same since, great fight!

The K bros have ruined a lot of top heavyweights and contenders, or just exposed them- depends on each fighter and your own POV. Wladimir Klitshcko and Chris Byrd is a pretty good example

    That mexican ruined Nasim Hamed

    :yep

I'll bet he gets starched quikly again. Taking the combined punches of Cotto and Mosley probably has finished him because his chin always allowed him to walk fighters down.

that's right...he should have fought Toney at cruiser or continued his campaign at HW...melting down to 175 was too much for his body.

You could be right...it's hard to overcome that kind of beating mentally and physically...but, the verdict is still out until he steps in the ring.
