How are Pac's wins over Morales 2,3 and MAB 2 rated so high?

How are these wins considered great or even good that matter? Morales whooped Pac's ass in the first fight and Pac didn't want a rematch right a way. Pac waited till Morales was shot and coming off a loss to get his revenge lol.

The first time Pac beat MAB was a great win. It was this win that put Pac on the map. The MAB that Pac faught the 2nd time was shot and a shell of his former self. Morales Pac 3 was just a joke Morales had been shot for over a year already and everyone knew it. Out of 5 fights MAB 1 was the only one Pac was fighting one of the greats in their prime!

Pac's resume has some big names on it, but is okay at best. Add in Marquez two fights which are very controversial in their own right and I just don't see the legend everyone makes Pac out to be. No domination to where Pac looks unbeatable far from it.

Morales 2: No one KO'd Morales
Morales 3: No one KO'd Morales that early and quick
Barrera 2: He was coming off two major wins over Juarez and a close fight that many thought he won including a knockdown he wasn't credited for by Nady against current P4P#2 Marquez

Not hating just telling it like it is LOL. Those are the facts very highly rated wins for fights where Pac was fighting a fighter coming off a loss and had already been in some wars with each other.

That doesn't change the fact Morales was coming off a loss and had already showed he was no longer a elite fighter. No way did MAB beat Marquez. Pac's team faught the loser of that fight not the winner how is that great?:huh

That means nothing in this case. People said Barrera was past it when he fought Morales after losing to Pac yet we saw what happened, Barrera continued to get big victories from 2003 all the way to 2007 till the close fight with Marquez.

Morales was coming off a loss to Barrera yet we saw what happened against Pac the first time they met.

You make a good point. With that being said how often is it considered great to beat a fighter after a loss. IMO Morales 2,3 and MAB2 Pac was in against great fighters they just weren't great at the time Pac faught them.

Besides MAB 1 do you think Pac's wins in Morales 2,3 and MAB 2 were against prime fighters?

Nonsense, Morales WOULDN'T have beat Pacman in the first fight if he wasn't an elite fighter anymore.

I never said Marquez beat MAB, just telling you it was a close fight, way closer than expected.

The Barrera rematch had a lot of demand, MANY fans wanted to see that fight and see Barrera get another chance. It was Barrera who asked for it and Pac was kind enough to give him like Barrera was kind enough to fight him the first time they met.

Pac's team fought the loser then immediately fought the winne a few months later.

Morales wasn't shot beyond belief like people say. Morales fought his usual fight and was broken down with body punches, something Pac ignored using when they met the first time. Morales nearly dropped Pac in the first round and the fight was also a competitive one, it wasn't one-sided at all. Can't give Pac a tough fight if you're past it.

Barrera wasn't prime and was definitely shot in the rematch, but wasn't shot to uselessness either. Barrera went the distance and was coming off some major victories and a close battle with Marquez.

Still I don't think that Morales would have lasted as long as he did in the rematch if he was way past it.

EM Whooped PAC in the first fight? More like they both gave as good as they got but EM won that one clearly in a close and competitive fight. No way can say PAC got whooped without mentioning EM taking his lumps as well. PAC wanted the immediate rematch with both JMM and EM. But after the wins they decided to pursue other fights, but that wasn't PAC's fault. THere are no "unbeatable" fighters, but you have a small few that you can pretty much bet on consistantly and come out a winner for the most part. Floyd is one of them and PAC is the other for this era of boxing. To say PAC's resume is "OK"only shows you are that knowledgeable about PAC or boxing.

exactly.. and you got to remember that morales fought again against diaz IMO and in the eyes of many, he won the fight. the thing about manny pac he makes fighters look shot and past their prime..

Just imagine how would a soto, valero, guzman, barrios, juarez fair against MAB and EM when manny fought them the 2nd and 3rd time.. I'd still pick EM and MAB .

Good points. Morales Pac 2 was a okay fight but I really do feel Morales was past it. I thought MAB went the distance only because he wasn't really engaging at all. I understand fighting a fight the public wants for the pay day expecially at the lower weights because its so hard to get good pay days usually.
