Freddie Roach: Manny is taking this fight way too lightly. It's the toughest fight!

Pac does this sometimes...shouldn't be a big deal. Everybody was on Manny's ass for not taking the Diaz fight seriously...but then again...Cotto is no David Diaz

 

roach says in the interview that he guarantees the fight will go the distance, didn't he earlier say "Pac by KO"

 

Plus in a lot of the local newspapers in the Philippines, it seems most sports writers think of Cotto as a way past it fighter and that the fight would be a breeze for Pac. No doubt it will only fuel any overconfidence Pac may be feeling. Bunch of idiots.

 

I wouldn't expect Roach to have Manny engaging with Cotto. Cotto is too strong, precise and defensively capable to get outdone in a war with Pacquiao. Pacquiao will be popping in and out and flurrying his way to a decision.

 

Roach doesn't seem as confident as he did against Hatton and Oscar...

 

Manny's downfall begins.

 

I remember in an earlier interview Freddie said he hadn't sat down to watch the tapes of Cotto yet. Now it looks like he has and feels he may be in over his head!

Why does he release this **** to the public? If it's not for promotional reasons, and I can't see how it is, then it's doing his fighter a disservice.

 

I really want Cotto to win this fight.

Don't get me wrong i really like Manny but i believe that especially over here in the UK hardly anyone even knows who Cotto is... and the people that do don't rate him at all.

Manny has had some problems with training in the U.S.A over taxes owed for non-US citzens that work there for a certain period of time within a two year time span i have heard.

 

Very unprofessional, and if I was Manny, I'd be pissed -- regardless of whether it's true or not. Oh well, Freddie calls it like he sees it, I guess.

Freddie Shakes need to play his position...he's the ****in help. Now he's running off at the mouth like a jilted girlfriend. I think he's jealous of Manny's relationship with his people...he wants many all to himself...***.
