WTF??? Who cares about the stinking article. He's been a legit JLW since he's been in the sport. Making weight was never an issue any other time in his career, so him being weightdrained to make 130 isn't even an argument you fool. If this was even the case that's his fault, not Floyd's. Floyd fought Corrales, who was the man at 130, and he beat him. Plain and Simple. Manny fought a over the hill Oscar who had to drain from LMW to 145. No comparison whatsoever.

Pretty much the way it is. Oscar was only favored to beat Manny because we all figured he'd come into the ring at around 160 lbs.... Instead he put on no weight after the weigh in at all. The last time he was 147 lbs in the ring was probably when he was a Junior Welterweight...which was back in 1997. That said, even Lightweights rehydrate to 147, and Oscar was a very tall Lightweight. Another tall Lightweight in boxing today is Ali Funeka, who comes into the ring as a Junior Middleweight.

mind you, oscar was favored on all department minus the speed... That's why they tried to incorporate speed by weighing less, but to no avail, manny was just too much...

I say its a wash to be honest with you both men were drained so you cant say one fight was worth more than the other.

Im not saying it doesn't matter fool. I'm saying that is not Floyd's fault. This was his division. Oscar was a 36 year old man who hadn't fought at WW in 10 years. Do you realize that Corrales was IBF superfeatherweight champion not but a few months before taking up the Floyd fight. :patsch goodness grief!??? Do you not comprehend the absolute idiocy of that comparison?

Um, no. He was primarily favored on size. He gave up that advantage. If you honestly believe Oscar still would have been the favorite in that fight if he let everyone know he'd come in 147 on fight night, you're sadly mistaken.

you fool, do you not understand what happens to your body when you drain yourself overnight? And not still make weight in such a case with chico's fight... Try diarrhea you fool so you would understand!

And oscar was already on the weight, meaning he did not drastically drained himself on weigh ins... His body is already accostumed at the said weight simpleton...
Better research 1st before arguing dumbo!!!

Your right about that, it is the fault of Chicos but it still does not change the fact that he was drained going in.
Mayweather knows what it does to your body, Chico was drained Oscar was drained, Both wins look good on ones resume but I am not blowing those wins up more than what they are....

My goodness. Floyd didn't take the fight knowing that Corrales had been feeling ill. He took the fight to beat one of the most feared men in boxing. Manny took his fight knowing a 36 year old shot fighter was going to drop 10lbs. There just isn't a unilateral comparison.

Dlh was weight drained, and Chico wasn't. Chico fought like a man who could not hit a speeding bullet. Dlh fought Pac like he couldn't even move or throw combinations.
