Miguel Cotto: "Pacquiao is not a better boxer than Miguel Coto"

I dont have a preference for one or the other to win, just want to see a great fight. However, hadnt thought about this being a possibility, where by I would have to now side for a Pacman victory simply for this.

Clottey is not better then Cotto,That Cut is what really affected Cotto and threw him off his gameplan,and still with 1 eye he was rocking Clottey and making him struggle

 

I kind of want Pac to lose to Cotto because it won't effect his status too much.

And it would likely force a fight with Mayweather at 140, which is where I want it to be.

 

Yes Clottey is better than Cotto, just like Margo was better than Cotto.. Cotto has a hard time fighting when he can not stalk his opponents, this is obvious when he faces big strong opponents who have good defense or can take his shots.

People make a big deal of Cotto's cut, but Clottey was blocking most of his flurries and killing him with uppercuts before and after the cut. As for Cotto rocking Clottey, the only time he got Clottey's attention was in the 6 round. He caught Clottey with a uppercut, Clottey then proceeded to block most of Cotto's flurry while laying in the corner, after that it went back to business as usual with Clottey tagging Cotto's body and feeding him uppercuts, and peppering him occassionally with jabs.

I'ld say as a WW Cotto was always B class, it showed in his close fight with Zab, which he had to repeatedly low blow to stop Zab from finishing him off.

The bad thing for Manny is that he is too small to really get Cotto, I view him as a slower, cruder version of Zab Judah, and that is going to be his problem in this fight. He is too small and I don't think he has the power that Zab and Shane had when they fought Cotto.

as an overall technician, miguel cotto is a better boxer than pacquiao. he does most everything textbook while pacquiao still has many flaws in his game but because of his awkwardness can get away with it most of the time. unfortunately for pacquiao his time for cherrypicking has run out and cotto is going to bring pacquiao back down to reality!
