Mate... I cant stand the very thought of the guy... He obviously has little concern about the public image of his team, Mundines ability or Boxing fans.. Yet, through his lack of concern, he has generated squillions of dollars for The Man via lame arsed promotions... In our eyes it may not be right, but he must be doing something right!!!!! A lot have walked away from the game with far less money, and fewer brain cells due to *******ry through managers/promoters...
1. Struggles to control questions at media conferences. And doesn't advise his fighter what to say. 2. Struggles to find a decent opponent. 3. Fails to understand mainstream sport fans will buy the PPV if a fighter such as Winky Wright is brought over here. 4. Disrespects fight fans across Australia and the world.
Flamengo you have a few good points. But anyone could have made this money having Mundine for an asset. We could have both done the same thing. Fact of the matter is, we should be focusing on lost fights and money. Because while hes the best paid aussie boxer. He hasn't reached half the heights he should have. And he hasn't made half the money he could have. :deal
What would a boxer prefer.... 1. Manager who steals a boxers money. 2. Manager who steals a boxers talent. Difficult one to answer but clearly is what happens in some circumstances.
Depending on what way you look at it Khoder might be one of the BEST managers around. He and Choc had gotten stinking rich off fighting mostly cans..they have the public absolutely duped. Mundine is making a living with very little risk in a risky sport...thats probably good management actually. Robbie Peden defended Katsidas' managment when he was going over to fight Earl for the WBO title...Most people were saying Michael has been fighting bums and isnt ready..But Robbie quipped that its actually good management to get your fighter to a title as unscathed as possible. Dont totally agree with it but thats from an actual fighter.

In any business, if you can bluff your customers with a relatively poor product, take little risk whilst doing it and make a large profit, things are booming. On that measure, sadly you have to concede him some slack. ...bottom line though is that in this case the boxing public are the customers - that's of course if you are gulible enough personally to pay!!

I have known Choc all his life. Unlike Barry Michael who tells everyone hes watched him grow up. I dont go to Chocs fights because I dont want to be in the same room as Nasser. The blokes boxing knowledge you could on the back of a postage stamp. The only thing I look forward to is Choc retiring and Nasser being out of a job. Choc is a very loyal person. He has stuck with Nasser knowing how much people cant stand him. As a person I can never say a bad word against Choc. But Nasser! Where do I start.
Nasser. Could be smartest or dumbest depends on what way you see it. I mean you see alot of fighters getting robbed and not paid well. Cant say Choc hasnt made his money but i mean what a waste. 34 now, getting older, hasnt beat anyone of consequence.
The man is nothing more than a grub. Having no sporting ability himself he was clever enough to see the forest for the trees. The name MUNDINE was once referred to with respect and admiration in Aus boxing but thanks to this parasite it will probably go down in boxing history as a subject of derision. I can't stomach Nasser for a number of reasons, but most of all for what he's done to the sport I love. The sooner he crawls back into the hole he came from the better.
Gotta wonder how much resistance Mundine puts up personally when his opponents are chosen? He's not silly enough not to know that many are very low calibre, but wonder how much he actually cares about it? Unfortunately for him his 'conquer the world' type script just doesn't fit Nasser's story line.
