This fight would be huge in the north west. I'd love this to happen and the MEN would be rockin that night.

He could do, or he could be made to look like a chump and a 2nd rate Hatton wannabe

    This.

People just use Murray as their stick to bash Khan with.

It's not as if he has gone round shredding all the best domestic opposition either - all his best wins have been after someone else has done the job first.

Lawton had previously been thrashed by both Thaxton and Khan, for example.

He has been badly managed - common theme here - and he ought to have more decent names on a 27 fight ledger, certainly it doesn't suggest he is ready for a crack at a title, even if Khan is vulnerable.

It is the WBA though :-(

yes and for some reason murry has been allowed to avoid fighting willie limond whos been in the top 5 for the last 2 years.if murry does fight khan surley limond must get his chance? or maybe amir khan again, remember limond was lined up to fight salita at light welter,i know how much willie would want to put things right with khan!

John Murray would smash Limond and Khan in the same night, Murray is on world level now anyways.

Since when was Murrays lightweight career over. I didn't think missing the weight by a pube last time around was a big issue to him.
