When the fight was announced, I saw nothing other than a Mayweather win, but the more I think about it the more I think that Marquez's sharpshooting will really hurt Mayweather. Marquez is a slow starter, but its not like Mayweather is a first round KO fighter, and if this goes the 12 rounds, which I think it will, Marquez will grow stronger as the fight goes on and Mayweather is going to tire. I think that if anything it will be Mayweather toughest fight to date, but I am now firmly in the corner of Marquez.

    Anyone else agree?

I can't agree or disagree. Got to see how Mayweather performs in the first two rounds at least to get a picture of how this fight might go. He has been off for two years so it's hard to make a prediction based on fights two years ago.

if you have switched camps then the promotion has worked on you.

I've thought Marquez could win this fight from the begining but I'm tilting towards Floyd by close decision

Bingo. I don't think Floyd will stop Marquez but he'll win a relatively wide decision over Marquez. I think Floyd will jump out to a wide lead before Marquez claws his way back into respectability. I can think of few fighters who adjust as well as Marquez so he's got that going for him. I think it'll wind up something like 8-4 with Marquez touching canvas along the way.

FM will be awesome, a fight against the winner of Pac versus Cotto would be huge!

    Same as PHILLA.
I always thought JMM has a very good chance to win.
Obviously the 24-7s are gonna make it seem as if its a 50-50 fight or even maybe 60-40 towards JMM.
The one thing that i dont know if its scripted to make it more interesting is the clips of JMM punching the bag. He seems to have alot more snap in his punches than PBF does. Did anyone else notice this??

:verysad If you're counting on him tiring forget it.

Marquez will make him fight, he cant potshot his way to a victory in this fight.

Don't backslide when Floyd EASILLY destroys this pinata.

Backsliding is a COMMON occurance after a Mayweather fight:deal

As much as I would love to see Mayweather lying in a heap of his own spit, I just know deep in my heart that Marquez simply doesn't have the size to hurt him. But then again, Marquez really messed up the baby bull (who is considerablly slower than PBF). So, if somehow Mayweather can get suckered into being the aggressor in this fight, maybe Marquez can get close enough to inflict sneaky damage. But again, Mayweather is such a defensive fighter, that I doubt he will do that. So, this is either going to be a barn burner of a fight, or a complete snooze fest with Marquez chasing PBF for 12 rounds while getting pot shot.

 Very true, I remember countless people said Oscar was gonna knock Floyd out but after the fight Oscar became an AARP member.

I remember sports-writers...trainers...and posters....all claiming Floyd didn't have enough "pop" to keep Gatti off him:rofl

Not to mention all the fools that said it was IMPOSSIBLE for him to stop Hatton.:patsch

JMM could a 25 y/o Jr MW and he'd STILL get his ass beat-down.

You need DEFENSE...and plenty of it to beat Mayweather.

Steven Hawking moves his head better than JMM.

24/7 always does this to people. You see a guy working out and hitting the bag and all of a sudden you buy into the hype and think he has a chance only to be disappointed when he gets KTFO.
