Who has Khan fought to be considered world class?

 

oh come on mate amir boxer lovely to win the world title give the guy a break.

 

Boxed very well indeed but just because it was for a strap doesnt mean the opponent was world class does it?

 

I do agree winnable but still at that stage for Khan was a risk for someone named Frank Warren. Khan would of had no problems with fighting him IMO.

 

I've never claimed Khan was world class whereas Boroboxing was claiming that John Murray is world class.

Khan has beaten Kotelnik convincingly who is at least above Euro level !
Who has John Murray beaten?

 

Murrays has been badly managed and he hasnt fought the fighters he should have by this stage of his career.That said i think he has the talent to reach alphabet world strap level and i think its a harder fight for Khan than his last one as i think Murray is a better version of kotelnik.

 

koetelnik was world champion and won silver at the olympics and you think hes not world class? well id love to see the boxing you go and see PNE BUZ?

 

I think Murray is a better version of kotelnik so is Murray world class coz i dont think he is!

 

i see khan as a highly skilled and naturally gifted boxer but sorely lacking as a fighter. he can't mix it up and will not be involved in any classic encounters i suspect. even if khan is far more talented i would rather watch murray any night and would hope if they met murray would grind him down, because khan wouldn't keep him off with that pitter patter **** he seems to have settled with as his style. i think if they did meet warren would stipulate a 30" square ring and 20 ounce boxing gloves ala leonard v haggler

 

Every one has there opinion ! Dont get me wrong Khan has world class boxing ability but hes to vulnerable round the chin for my likens and somebody like Murray banging him on the chin its good night.

 

Exactley 30 foot ring with amirs reebok gloves where i assume murray want smaller ring with everlast gloves them 2 things alone could determine how the fight goes.

 

i was joking about the ring size and gloves, but yeah definately, with a smaller ring murray could cut the ring off and pin him down as he likes to do, khans people wouldn't allow this. just thinking about this fight reminded me of all the stipulations leonard made about ring and gloves before he would fight haggler

 

the champion as the right to determine what size of ring gets used and what make of gloves are worn.
