I see it obviously. I see it in 24/7 and I see it in his physique. His hand speed is down noticeably and I havent seen enough of his footwork yet to say. But I believe age is finally catching up with Floyd. It was a good decision for him to move the fight back to a later date. Floyd is going to be easier to hit in this fight than he has in the past.

I am not saying he will lose. But, I see a marginal decline starting.

Same. Glad someone else is picking up on it.

Floyd was not a gym rat during his 2 year vacation. He is still gettin back in shape.

You can't have such massive layoffs for that boxing style. Just like Muhammad Ali before him, Floyd is slowing down.

That means that certain things he's used to doing won't work, and the Marquez has a chance.

I actually noticed this as well, he seemed a lot slower than what he usually is. Age might be catching up to him, but we shall see.

I also, noticed this during the Hatton-Pacquiao 24/7. Hatton looked A LOT slower than what he usually is, and it really showed during the fight. Hatton used to have faster feet and hands, not blazing, but he was a lot quicker before that fight with Pacquiao.

I am actually just as interested in his footwork to see if he is slower on his feet. I see it in all facets of his hand speed. This should be a boost for the JMM fans.

I'm glad others are seeing this as well. Reminds me of the hatton/pac fight where I said Roach was not happy with Moorer and people said the same thing that I was wrong. The truth came to pass. I will reserve full judgment until I see Floyd more in the ring.

Lol. All this from 1 episode of 24/7. Do you really think floyd would show how fast he really was on 24/7? Ffs he pitty pats the heavy bag on the show also. Floyd isn't letting anything out the bag on a show.

I don't care how good a fighter is but a 2 yr. layoff will affect anybody no matter how hard they train. As every boxing fans know, what you can do in training and in the actual fight are 2 different things.

I really didn't see much difference, I guess I'll just have to watch it again more carefully, although I try not to look too much shows like this anyway other than for entertainment.

Mayweather's face has seemed to age a bit lately, not that it really means much.

on a youtube video Roger said that PBF stayed in shape by playing b-ball and not boxing. His hands needed to heal as they are messed up as well as his right shoulder. His muscles may be strong but his joints are bad. He could suffer an injury in the fight or break a hand as well.

well floyd have always been a form guy. Accuracy is more of his game although he can go very fast but sometimes he rather land than flash. I think he is out of prime too although his decline is slowly.

Thats a good observation and it means more than you might surmise. Now pay attention to how floyd hits the heavy bag and if possible see how he has done it in previous 24/7. Floyd has aged quite a bit in his 2 years off.

Then watch his speedbag, it is much slower. Lastly, he looks heavy on his feet when he is moving around the ring. I'll know for sure how badly he has slowed when I see some sparring.

One question did you see the tension in Roger's face when he was looking at his Brother Floyd talking to Floyd Jr. I don't think Roger likes having him around. Just wanted to know if you saw that as well.
