I am a behaviorist and also an exboxer, i still train, so i have a keen eye to the nuances of boxing. You average observers arent likely to catch what I can see. I said the same thing reading the pac/hatton fight. You can dig up my old posts on it. Floyd is beginning to break down physically. He doesnt have many more good years in him. I am not saying he cant win some big fights from here on out. But, age has caught up with Floyd Mayweather. This is likely why he also got injured training. As you age you are more injury prone and you lose your reflexes. Floyd will get caught easier than he has in the past. Watch for it in the JMM fight.
No, I didn't lol... I do not see Floyd's hand speed slowing down, and I did not catch any negative body language/looks from Rog when Floyd Sr. was talking to his son...
Like any boxer over 30 Floyd is aging. He can't stay young forever. Your outlook is average. Floyd has not moved around the ring in a long time during a fight. The last time you say him use the ring was the Baldomir fight. You might be right that Floyd lost something, but if you are a former boxer, you know that he will have gained something also. When your hand speed goes, you stand more flat footed. People say once Jones lost his speed, he was exposed as being a limited boxer. That might, or might not be true, but Floyd has always showed that he can fight flat footed.
Ridiculous statements. Floyd looked excellent when he was in London for FFS! LOL Now he's had months more training since then. Trying to decipher a loss of speed from a 24/7 episode is not going to result in accurate conclusions. Just watch his next fight. Since Floyd tore his rotator before the first Castillo fight. Does that mean he was breaking down then? Let me tell you something. Even an 85% Floyd will beat the **** out of Pacquiao. Don't underestimate the most important muscle in boxing. His brain!
he might have lost a bit of speed but its not really much also marquez looks to heavy so it wont make a difrence if marquez does not coming to fight in at least 140
Roger and Big Floyd have a bigtime brotherly rivalry. All the time I've spent around that family, and I've only ever seen em civil. Jeff is the best man among the Mayweathers. He's the bottom in terms of fighting talent, but is a tremendous trainer and just a good person in general. I always thought more time with Uncle Jeff would be good. PBF would beat 99% of boxers in the world, and I bet this is still so. But there is a decline, and it will most likely show a bit. He's just getting older, and his body is breaking up.
I agree with this JMM does look too heavy to me too. Perhaps his strength will increase as a result. Likely whatever PBF has lost will be offset by JMM being too far out of his natural weight.
