wish I could make an argument against Chavez Sr, but I can't. If Sanchez could have had 4-5 more years then he might have surpassed him.

Well personally I see skills and talent as different from each other.

As skills are something you learn and talent is more natural gifts.

Id go to far to say that Chavez has more natural talent then Marquez...but my idea of boxing talent seems to differ from a lot of people's.
It seems speed and athleticism is the only criteria a lot of people use to judge boxing talent...whereas I think its a whole lot of other things including those 2 attributes.

It's probably already been said, but it's a shame that Lopez isn't getting more votes. He is definitely top-shelf ATG material.

That being said, I made the obvious choice myself. Chavez.

Looks the part but has a weak resume compared to the others.

And its hard to really gauge how good he really was without him consistently showing it against good fighters like most of the others did. Because the best fighter he fought certainly tested him on the inside.

hey boom boom why is it so pathetic to mention duran? His dad was mexican american and i also dont understand why chicanos are never on any of these list. Were american but mexicans by blood .Althought most mexican nationals dont consider us real mexicans, anyways i am surprised finito didnt get more votes he might have been the most perfect text book fighter ive seen, but i must agree that his comp wasnt as tough as lot of the others and whats up with ricardinho putting chiquita at 3?? Man lopez would have whupped him real good, chiquita was knocked out by sorjaturong and lopez destroyed him in 2. also roman was good but no way hes a tie with barrera just compare there comp and look at their records,Also whys everyone picking morales over barrera he beat him 2 out of 3 and deserved the first one, although morales deserved the 2nd one.Ok heres the real top 10 mexican nationals and imagine this list would be even deeper if we put duran, delahoya, manuel ortizand other great mexican americans on this list. 1 chavez 2.sanchez 3.Lopez 4.marquez 5.olivares 6.canto 7.Barrera 8.Zarate 9.Morales 10.Arizmendi-Saldivar
