    Explain

Why did Tyson lose to Buster Douglas in 1990??

You would of Thought Lou Savarese would Kill Tyson but no he got destroyed by Iron Mike.

    Tyson was truly a great.

    let me say it again...

mayorga beat forrest twice who beat mosley twice who beat oscar twice

    ...who pounded mayorga.

you canøt use 'rock, paper, scissors' in boxing.

Tyson lost to Buster Douglas in 1990 because he got hit a lot and fell down.

Actually, it exactly is paper, scissors, rock. A beats B, B beats C, C beats A. Many examples prove it.

what i mean is you can't take an example of someone who beat someone else and then use that to build up how a different fighter performed.

that's different from styles make fights.

Tyson was dishing out some hurt in that fight too, you can't forget... Knocked Buster down a couple times I think... I forget. lol. It was just not his night combined with the fact that once Buster knew he could weather the storm, his recently-deceased mother's memory kicked in and he knew it was his time to shine. Buster might not have known it going into the fight, but I think mid-way thru it, something told him it was his fight to win that night.

Lack of focus and discipline on Tyson's part. Tyson was simply not prepared (mentally and physically) for the Buster Douglas fight. He admitted not taking Buster seriously and partied in Japan instead of training.

    thats exactly right.

tyson and judah are the best examples i can think of in recent time as an example of how important mental strength and discipline is to being the best you can.

cotto beat mosley who beat margarito who beat cotto

The old A>B>C<A doesnt work all the time in boxing

It just wasnt Tysons night, makes you wonder what Tyson would've accomplished if he didnt suffer that defeat, spent his prime in jail and fell out of love with the sport due to getting ripped off numerous times,

He could have been one of if not thee greatest ever in my opinion

Douglas wasn't the same fighter when he fought Savarese as when he fought Tyson. Douglas was older and heavier.

are you being serious or are you a MORON?

    trevor berbick beat Muhammad Ali

trevor berbick lost to Hassim Rahman

does that make Rahman better than Muhammad Ali?

besides the tyson-savareese fight was a joke..lou got hit one time, got up and ref stopped the fight...waste of damn time and money for those he paid for that crap
