Lets say the tournement did a WW version of the super six featuring:

    1.Cotto
    2.Mayweather
    3.Mosley
    4.Pacman
    5.PW
    6.Margarito

Who wins? Who looses to who?

    Let the game begin :hat

All I know is Pacman comes last, at welterweight the majority of those guys are way too big for him. You'd be better served putting Berto in there instead or Clottey.

first of all, pacquiao is NOT a welterweight and would get chewed up and spit out by the bigger welters. having said that, here are my top 5 welters plus five young welters ready to hit the top 10 soon.

    1. Miguel Angel Cotto
    2. Shane Mosley
    3. Antonio Margarito
    4. Joshua Clottey
    5. Andre Berto

    soon to crack top 10

    Mike Jones 18-0 15 KO's
    Saul Alvarez 28-0-1 21 KO's
    Kell Brook 20-0 13 KO's
    Jesus Soto Karass 24-3-3 16 KO's
    James de la Rosa 19-0 12 KO's

What can I say, that's how I see it. Nothing to do with him as a fighter at all, but 147 is a weight class too far for him to be fighting the elite guys, particularly given guys like Mosley & Williams have fought at 154 regularly and in PW's case obviously 160 aswell.

I would take Margo out just cause I am still pissed at him and replace him with Berto and add Clottey as he definately deserves to be in the mix. I'm always going to root for my boy Cotto but to be honest... my head says Paul Williams unless he shows up the same way as in with Quintana and Cotto will definately beat him.

I don't rate Kell Brook all that highly if I'm honest. Good hand speed and above average power, he's a confident lad aswell but I think his chin will let him down at the top level. I think the Jennings fight is going to tell us a lot about his world title prospects.

i don't think paul williams will ever fight at welterweight again because he has such a hard time finding opponents. hell, mosley won't even fight him and who can blame him. i think williams stays at middleweight win or lose after his fight with kelly pavlik.

    Cotto beats Pacman
Mosley beats Cotto in rematch, Mayweather, Pacman, PW and Margo
Mayweather beats em all except Mosley
PW beats them all except May and Mosley
    Pac beats nobody
    Margo beats Pac and Cotto

I hope there are no contradictions in there

In the End, A fully trained and prepared Shane Mosley with Nazim in his corner beats them all. Which is why nobody will fight him. :deal

Going to have to disagree with you there, i think the kids somthing special and i cant wait to see him develop, like you mentioned though we will get a better understanding of his capeabilities once he fights Jennings :bbb

This is how I think the rankings would come out, but I think a lot of the fighters would go back and forth on victories if there were rematches (The top 5 have the best chance of coming out on top): PW, then Mayweather, Mosely, Margarito, Cotto, Clottey, Berto

I think PW has the best chance to take them all except a possible loss to Margarito since he's the only one who showed he can take his shots and rock PW since their close encounter. To be honset tough I don't think he's doing enough to make the big fights and is expecting people to call him out and give him unrealistic amount of money. If I were him I'd just take out the challengers and get myself ranked as the mandatory challenger for all the champions in the weight division.

Mayweather is a better fighter p4p and welterweight is really not his weight, but I think PW's reach and work rate would keep FMJ from landing anything significant on PW and PW would win a controversial victory on out hustling FMJ, despite missing a lot along the way. Next to give him tough goes and possible losses would be Mosely, Margarito, and Cotto.

I'll discuss the my thoughts on the other fighters later.

damn, i left mayweather jr. out of my list. and with paul williams in the mix i've got to say:

    1. floyd mayweather jr.
    2. paul williams
    3. cotto
    4. mosley
    5. margarito

however, i've got mosley as the dark horse here. he could very well pull two upsets and beat both williams and mayweather jr.. but i'll go with youth and stick to my top two.

Kell Brook is the best prospect in British boxing and one of the best current British boxers. He is a level above Khan in so many aspects.
