    Always thought this bit was absolutely hilarious.

    An interesting time capsule as well: Mike Tyson labeled the greatest athlete in terms of sportsmanship? Whodathunk it?

    I think his stepfather was a trainer, or affiliated with boxing in some ways.

    Is this from Raw? I know it's not from Delirious, that was around 1982-83, and I would've remembered it. I never saw Raw in full.

    I have yet to see it in its entirety myself, but I'm pretty sure it's not from Raw, which was all pre-staged and actually had a director (Robert Townsend). It doesn't show up in any rundowns of that performance either. And it's definitely not from Delirious, like you said, as Murphy introduces Tyson as the "Heavyweight Campion of the World", so it was at least after Berbick which was November of '86.

    I first heard it on his "Greatest Comedy Hits" CD, which doesn't say where each track comes from. It has material from his unreleased New York night club days, so I am assuming it was from one of those.

    He's dead on with Larry Homes. That man is the most bitter man in boxing history. Evry time you see him on tv commenation on fights on anything he's always mad.
