No way does Mosley gas out in the second half in this fight, no possibility at all. Mosley gets better as the fight goes the distance as shown through his career. He has the power, ring smarts, speed, stamina, and has been with the biggest opponents than any current welterweight throughout his career. We know Clottey can't knock him out, so whats left for him to outbox Mosley for 12 rounds and get a victory. No way that happends. Cotto at times was outboxing him with that cut. Clottey tends to give many opportunities to his opponents as he fights, hopefully he corrects that, because Mosley will take advantage with any open door.
I agree Mosley is pretty much shot. I think if you can factor in that Clottey/Cotto could have went either way and Cotto beat Mosley, Clottey should beat Shane, but I know it doesn't always work as such.
Mosley will hammer Clottey when he shells up. You need to use movement and your jab against Mosley, Clottey is too inconsistent with both, he will rely on his guard too much. Mosley wins a close but clear cut decision.
I got Mosley.. Let's hope Clottey/Mosley does not make the 12rd. (Mostly because I'm tired of the didn't do enough excuse by Clottey)
Very intriguing fight. I think it depends on what Shane Mosley shows up. Shane over the past couple of years could either show up amazing or less than stellar. He will have to be at his best to beat Clottey. Clottey's style is similar to Winky Wright's which Mosley had trouble dealing with.
I dont really consider Clottey similar to Wright aside from the high guard...I think Mosley will comfortably outwork him to a clear decision.
