He is the 2nd best in the world and it sounds like u not givin enough credit to Floyd regardless...This is his 1st fight back and Marquez wont be easy...If your suggesting that Floyd is "Scared to get in the ring with a quicker, more aggressive fighter such as Pac than thats stupid cuz Marquez is a more dangerous fight for Floyd than Pac IMO...ESPECIALLY FROM A BUSINESS STAND POINT WHICH IT SEEMS THAT FLOYD IS APPROACHING THIS FIGHT FROM A BUSINESS STANDPOINT! If he would have picked a Mosley or a Pac and lost than there is doubts in a lot of peoples minds that Floyd cant beat either of those guys...BUT if he LOSES TO MARQUEZ than he is over really...So it may be an easier "physical" fight cuz Marquez doesn't carry alotta power and he is a smaller fighter ETC...BUT HE CARRIES A MUCH HIGHER "RISK" THAN THOSE OTHER FIGHTERS FROM A BUSINESS STANDPOINT BECAUSE A MAYWEATHER LOSS PUTS HIS WHOLE PRESENTATION AS TO WHO HE IS ON HOLD OR FINISHED!

Yes, Void has already won the fight. Hell, Void does not even have to fight! Judges, referee, venue, commentators, etc., Marquez could knock Void down in every round and still lose the fight! I will not pay for such a fake fight.

I don't think so. Guys been out of the ring for almost 2 years. And the people who think it is that much of a one-sided fight are just Floyd haters putting him in a lose lose situation. So if he wins they give him no credit and if he loses they'll be way to happy to care about their opinion being wrong. It's a closer fight than people think but Floyd should win. But that don't mean he's going to.

So only Floyd haters think it might be one sided? JMM was basically even with Casamayor when he stopped him. An old Casamayor who lost clearly to Santa Cruz BTW. And his win over Diaz, while a good win, was NOT a win over some time tested LW champ. He was dominated by Campbell for 12 rounds before remember. Diaz IS a good fighter. But he is a bit limited.

Many are trying to keep it in perspective. JMM IS gettin up there in age. That's not a put down. He's become more aggressive leaving and is NO T the counter puncher he used to be. Remember, his win over a shot Barerra was close and not that long ago either.

And just add to the fact he's jumping up two division from where he fought ONCE?

Really..is it hate to think it is a mismatch on paper? Do yo honestly think Floyd took this fight because he knew it would be a challenge? Hell no!

It was because JMM is ranked highly on some fictional fanboy ranking, as if it meant something.

It would be different if it was Floyd at LW fighting the #2 P4P fighter, but that is not the case. He's a WW who fought at 150 fighitng a LW (with one fight there BTW).

I agree, Floyd SHOULD win, on paper it's a no brainer. Younger, stronger, bigger, faster, less mileage...but thankfully, stranger things have happened in the ring. And that's the ONLY saving grace, that something out of the ordinary happens. That and a bit of ring rust. But go ahead and call this hating if that's all you can come up with.

think about it buddy. when tyson came back, as small as a heavyweight fighter as he is.

did he pick a cruiserweight or a light heavyweight as his tune up fight? :blood

heck, just because jmm is highly ranked, this does not justify picking a fighter 2 weights lower who was desperate for a money fight.

the guy is 36 years old, with probably 2-3 fights ahead of him. jmm is ready for the picking in my opinion. no one has ever beaten father time, and not certainly JMM.

If Mays whips marquez, he must face mosley and Pac to be an all time great.

It would be a split decision win for Floyd though, they would take a couple of the knockdowns into account, and ignore the others!

Haters (Racists) whatever u wanna call them r always gonna make up BS threads and excuses, tyrna discredit Floyd but it isn't gonna work. The fact of the matter' Floyd has been the smaller man in the ring so man in the ring plenty of times. (Judah, DLH, Baldomir, Castillo, Hatton...yeah Hatton may have been a Jr. welter, but he puts on a lot of weight on fight night) just to name a few but nobody talks about that. He just one of the greatest fighters of our generation and able to beat bigger men with his skill.

This is the first smaller guy Floyd has faced.

Was Tony being a ***** for fighting LIGHTWEIGHT Manuel Gomez on PPV??....or the dreaded Golden Johnson???

Was Cotto being a ***** for fighting SHOT Jr WW Ottke Urkal??

Was Calzhage being a ***** when he fought career 154lb Peter Manfredo?

Is Pavlik being a ***** for fighting WW Paul Williams??

Was Tito being a ***** when he fought 140lb Oba Carr and LIGHTWEIGHT Jake Rodriques??

Apply the same logic to other fighters...then you'll see how stupid that logic is.:deal
