Roy was coming down 25 pounds from HW to Lt HW in order to fight Tarver. His status as P4P #1 was based on his history defining moment in winning the HW title from Ruiz

Jones lost something having to cut muscle and weight getting down to 175 again. No one knew how jones jr's body would react to the move back down to 175.

You are comparing apples to oranges b/c MAB wasn't affected by having to loose weight or gain weight in a new weight class at the time. MAB was P4p based on his wins at his weight class....jones was based on a win in a higher weight class.

Did you even see the videos I posted???

The reason Barrera beat Morales was because Morales was more past it than Barrera.

The reason Morales beat Pac was because he had, what we boxing fanatics refer to as his "LAST HURRAH". It's when a shot fighter, or past prime fighter squeezes one last masterfull performance.

Sometimes these last hurrahs don't result in a W, but it shows a great last performance.

    Freakin NEWBTARDS. :-(

lol....PAC physical prime came with age and experience. He was moving up in weight and getting better. PAC is in his prime now and at his overall best given the experience he's gained on his way up. MAB's prime wasn't at his orginal wieght class and neither was PACs.

And he's thinking of how PAc did superb against lesser fighters at higher weights, and struggled with the fighters who pretty much stamp his resume lol, trying to say that Pac was either still green at 126 and 130, or not fighting at his best weight.

:rofl Oh the double standards are spewing out from everywhere!

There is NO denying that the cutting weight affected Jones, but he did enough to barely win in any peoples eyes.

The rematch proved RJJ was past his prime, as did the Glen Johnson fight. The 25 pounds wasn't the issue in those two fights.

 You're funny Nall. He beat MAB and he was 26. He wasn't even a complete boxer at the time. If PAC was in his prime at 26 then that is basically stating PAC is even better than he is b/c of how he's been able to perform against harder opposition in harder circumstances and performing even better. PAC is in his prime now and has been at his overall best for 2 yrs now.

So you're saying that PAc's best weight was 122 where he unified the titles, or right now lol... This 'prime weight' thing is something boxing scientists have been trying to solve about fighters moving up in during their primes for decades lol...

basically more excuses from uliuli. you dont think pacs speed and agression did not suprise barrera at all in that fight. you just blame it on him being shot.

You need to learn to debate. You can't ask a questions with explaining why. I'm not you puppy to be demanding things from, infact I own you.

I mean WTF does it matter what weight his prime was. I already told you Morales was showing signs of getting old vs Chavez at 130, what else do you want. :patsch

LOL double standards? That's your area of expertise Nall. Sure...I thought he won, but I knew Jones Jr post his move to HW wouldn't have had the probelms with Tarver that he did when they first faught.

I think Jones cut his career short by moving to HW and then back down. The 25 pounds were not the issue anymore b/c the damage was already done. Jones has never been the same since that move.
