and i must say erik was DONE! he had some good moments when he tried to make it a war but Pac always ended throwing the most punches, forcing Morales to retreat, this version of Pac was a freaking hypercane! :yep. after the Zaheem fight he was no longer the same, and after the 2nd Pac fight...:verysad. Making a rubber match against a fighter who was pretty much done was uncalled for, :-(. This was a fight to send Morales into retirement.
that last flurry after his 2nd knockdown was vintage Erik. hindsight being 20/20 this fight should have been at a catchweight.
I don't know, but after seeing Pac destroy Morales in the 2nd fight there shouldn't have been a rubber-match :verysad.
that fight was pretty even up til the 6th round. just like the 1st fight. no shame losing to manny pacquiao. nothing wrong with a trilogy and it would have left questions unanswered. His legacy is already sealed win/lose. I think the velocity training was key when you look at it. nobody uses that nonsense to prepare for a fight. He used that to keep his weight down and I'll even agree that it played a huge part as to why Morales was not effective at all.
Roach didn't want anything to do with a catchweight when Morales asked for it. Now all here is catchweight coming out of Roache's mouth
