http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/boxing/8236930.stm I know you don't show boxing but this was one of the fights of the year so far home and abroad. The courage shown by both men was inspiring. And the fight gets a 150 word piece or however many words it was. I know that you never showed the fight beeb and i don't know (or care) if you had a reporter there but this fight deserved more than that awful report you've just churned out.
Obviously writing for the BBC requires you to be a **** reporter these days. The entire organisation is an embarrassment.
TBH expecting the Beeb to do any more on a Commonwealth Featherweight title fight, no matter how good fight, is unrealistic.
Fair enough. So what was the point in a report like that? They might as well have done nothing at all. We know they don't give a **** about boxing if it don't involve our household names so they shouldn't disrespect the sport, the fans and the fighters involved with a pishy report like that.
The report gives some background, the result, the winners future plans and broadly what happened in (with the greatest of respect to the boxers) in fringe title fight. If you want any more depth than that you just need to go to a boxing site.
