i would love to see a 2nd fight. taylor improved/learned from pav I and the second fight was a lot different. i think he can do the same to froch and win this one.

Jermain did much better in Pavlik II. He'd only need to be 14 seconds better in Froch II. I just wish he'd dump Ozell Nelson. In a large way it was trying to follow Nelson's instructions that cost him the fight with Froch.

yeah he got a little excited in the corner towards the end of the fight when all jermain had to do was end the fight on his feet.

Taylor is a great fighter. He has already had a lot of top fights and this tourney will give him even more. He is surely one of the few guys in modern boxing who has been in the ring with most top fighters. So we can only respect him for this.

However, I am not going to wish for him to win because I like several of the other fighters in SS as well - and I know Jermain can do it on his own. He is a strong fighter and showed twice that when he is fresh noone really beats him. I don't think he has ever lost the first 6 rounds of any fight. He surely beat Hopkins clearly in the first 6 rounds for example. In one of the fights I believe he tired enough for Hopkins to have snatched it and in the other I believe Jermain won the fight. Anyway - the point is that if he can avoid big punches from big punchers he will be very difficult to beat. Abraham is a mighty big hurdle though because he is one of the biggest punchers in boxing P4P out there.

I'll be definitely rooting for him, he can do it. He has the ability especially if he has somewhat sorted out his stamina issues and Abraham himself is not exactly Carl Froch but Taylor is somewhat fighting at a higher weight like Abraham is so it does make for interesting fight and I do feel Jermain is going to beat Abraham. Im not convinced with Abraham just yet.

You know what? I'm a big Abraham supporter, but I'd also like to see Taylor defying the odds and doing well in the tourney. Such a great talent with limitations not really being his fault (like stamina, he can't do much about it). I think he looked really well in his last fight and I felt bad for him running out of energy.

Luckily for him, Abraham is no high volume pressure fighter, and if you take a look at the Hopkins fights, he handled the old fox pretty well regardless whether you agree with the scores or not.

Taylor vs. Abraham is a genuine 50-50 fight.

    Jermaine seems a great guy

Find him pretty boring as a fighter, but i want to see him do well cause he's so nice, and always seems to fight the hardest fights out there
