Maybe not the best fighter but a boxer who could do it all
and had great defense and a chin to go all along with his offensive skill

watching the barkley fight, i'm still amazed by what i see. rolling, slipping, ducking punches while landing counters on a HUGE middleweight and still had the timing and power to knock him down

i love pryor but i think he got by more on physical giftedness than a complete set of skills and abilities. his defense was a little lacking

good pick, i agree pea should get a nod. his offensive abilities are drastically underrated. he had an incredible body attack and combination punching to go along with his legendary defense.

Robinson and Leonard are great suggestions. And what about Ricardo Lopez?

Of the amateurs, the most complete boxers you'll ever find are probably Teofilo Stevenson, Laszlo Papp, Felix Savon and up there with this absolute elite is Guillermo Rigondeaux.

I say Whitaker. In the Chavez proved that Whitaker is a complete fighter in which we all know he was one of the best defensive fighter maybe of all times but he throws alot of punches and isn't afraid to stand toe 2 toe. He didn't stand toe 3 toe with Chavez alot but when he has to he did in great fashion.
