    Nope..

Put him in the ring with Mayweather and you'll see.

I think Manny started to evolve AFTER the second Marquez fight. The fighter we saw against Diaz, Oscar and Hatton was definately not the same fighter we saw against Marquez in those two fights.

Also if you look at their fights since their last meeting, Marquez has been in a few wars which must have taken their toll on him, whereas Manny has come unscathed in all of them. If they fought tomorrow, I think Manny would take him in a more convincing manner.

Pacquiao won more rounds the 2nd time around, Marquez just didn't go down as much

I can't assume Marquez did better than Pac because his ass kissed the canvass in this very close fight.

The second choice is dumb. He has'nt fought diaz, hatton and dlh before the second JMM fight. PAc has improved rapidly his last 3 fights...he was still a jab jab jab straight left fighter the 2nd jmm fight

I really like Pac but he's been flattered by recent fights in that Hatton and DLH are 2 of the most overrated sportsmen in a long time and Diaz is B level at best. People seem to forget that JMM basically handled him in 2 fights and Morales beat him before he was done.
Basically, he's getting overrated now and he's in trouble against Cotto.

i'll call it his best ever win. Hatton and DLH are shitbags.

Will be betting on Cotto to beat Pac at 2.80, I reckon it's closer.

Lets say Pac knocks Cotto out, would you say it would be the best win of any active fighter in the sport?

Good thread SR. I was watching 24/7 the other day and thought the same thing. I was watching how in clips of the Marquez Pacquiao fight number 2, somehow, it looked like Marquez figured out Pacquiao's erratic movement and distance. This is something that I haven't see anyone do, including Morales, to the most recent "new and improved" peak Pacquiao. When you look at the second fight and look at highlights, there are punches that Marquez throws that look like they weren't gonna land (they look overshot punches) and Pacquiao somehow lands into them. Almost makes it look as if Marquez was lucky. Marquez and lucky in the same sentence? Poissibly, but I don't buy "lucky" when its done repeatedly in a fight. Marquez is a rhythm fighter and Pacquiao fights in a rhythm as well, although a stranger rhythm than most. Final Answer to the poll: Marquez has solved the pacquiao puzzle and is and will always be Pacquiao's kryptonite.
