Harada was fast and he was a dynamo.

But to be honest Lionel has some of the best handspeed Ive seen from any bantamweight in history.

That along with the fact that was a slightly drained and shitty version of Harada he beat...I saw Lionel beating him to the punch most of the night and out flurrying him with awesomely fast combos.

    Tzysu/Judah

One of the pinnacles of precision punching and timing beating a speedster.

Barrera v Hamed. Barrera isn't exactly slow I know but in this fight he knew he wouldn't be as fast as Hamed. However he used perfect timing in closing the distance and beating Hamed's speed, therefore I propose Barera ias a great example of a slower fighter dismantling a faster fighter.:bbb

Yes, that was legendary timing... so well-timed that you could barely see it. Judah certainly didn't. :yep

I know why Duran won that fight

he got off first, he was a step ahead

    :good

    Jab+timing

didnt know that, IMO if Marquez won it would be as big as Durans win over Leonard or at least in my life time.

    good shout

Greg i'm not getting into the Duran-Leonard thing, because this thread is not about that. The question is a fighter beating one faster than him, nothing to do with how and why.

    Okay you argumentative little ****?!

That's alright Whatarock, looks like i might have mis-judged there. I just thought Lionel was beating him t the unch due to his great jab and countering ability rather than a pure speed advantage, but i think you might be right.

That's one i was going to point out, but it's not too clear cut with that version of Olivares, it might just fit the bill.

I know it's your opinion but it's not for this thread really.

Olivares looked pretty good and he still had the speed maybe not what he had in his prime though.

After the fight, please put the winner's name first. Examples: Frazier-Ali 1, Duran-Leonard 1. Thank you.
