Just checked BETUS betting site... Pacquiao is sitting at -260 and Cotto at +200... Pacquiao gained more as the favorite of this fight... He started at -200...
Yes, those were the odds after the weigh-in... PAC was initially installed as 2 to 1 favorite to defeat Hatton (at -200)... It increased to almost 3 to 1 after the weigh-in... .
I still expect amongst the betters, pac to be a heavy favorite over cotto... amongst fight fans, its probably closer then the betting odds.....but I heard a stat once, where vegas odds are right about 97% of the time....don't know how true it actually is...
This is what m sayin. here in NSB, pac and cotto are almost even in every poll. i bet, around 70% of those who voted for pacs were pinoys. Geez, imagine if no pinoys were allowed to vote.. and it would be a landslide victory for cotto. lol

odds are not made simply on who will win the fight. odds are moved by who people are betting on. I take it you don't gamble much. The line in vegas on the cubs to win the world series are usually like 4-1. Those are not the actual chances of this event occuring. All the stupid cubs fans around the country move the odds by taking this stupid bet.
I take it YOU don't gamble much. Lines on obscure props move for every bet because so few people bet them. A cubs fan with 1000 to lose can move the lines. For a fight with boatloads of money being wagered like Pac-Cotto, the lines will be accurate, especially at closing. It might take a 50g wager to move the line.
