if JC ruined him how is he the favorite and he lost decisively to JC who beat BHOP who arguably the 5 or 6 seed in terms of ability JT beat bhop twice...wow this is gonna be an interesting tourney...winner will surely be top 5 p4p and to think 168 was a joke for so many years
he has the skills to be the best in the world period....now we have to see if he has the balls and if he does he will be too much for anyone to outbox over 12 rds
who did he do it against though...the same can be said of any of these guys...JT beat BHOP twice...kessler shut out andrade with EASE...dirrell has been MORE dominant than ward vs limited competition but on par if not better than wards...oganov, stevens and handshaw...AA is undefeated mw champ and froch just beat JT and PASCAL who is a GREAT fighter...I like ward to beat kessler but he is n underdog
I think AA will do everything to keep his 0. He's smaller than the other fighters, but his physique and shape are on par and his power is unmatched, definitely not overrated. He has already beaten fighters who were considerably taller (of course they didn't have the class of Kessler or Ward). However, don't expect anyone in the tournament to win with ease against this guy.
Is this a prediction based on FACTS ? or based on geography (all Americans) ? One has a huge question mark over his desire and motivation after two brutal losse's,and the other two are totally unproven at this level. Beating the likes of Hanshaw and Miranda is no Barometer for what they will face come the start of this tourney. My prediction; Taylor dec/TKO AA Kessler KO/TKO Ward Froch KO/TKO Dirrell
I've seen Ward put up better performances over 12 rounds of sparring than he did in 12 rounds against Miranda, so I know exactly how good Ward is. The rest of the world will soon.
Ward will break Kessler down from the outside to be honest with you. He is comfortable from the outside. He will pick him apart at will from the outside before moving in and bullying him on the inside with barrages of punches from several different angles until somebody decides they've seen enough. He's not a power puncher, but a very quick, accurate combination puncher who simply does not run out of gas.
Froch and kessler will score well with ko potential 2 points for a win plus extra point for a ko abraham strong and tough (dunno what he'll be like at 168???) ward and direll ......no chance:-(
Abraham destroyed Miranda at 166 last time, he looked comftable with that extra weight, seems like hes able to carry his power up quite well! But ofcourse Miranda isn`t on the same level as the rest of the super-six guys, So AA will definately be exciting to follow
the Olympic "champ" isn't breaking my man Kessler down by any means...He might do well and might even surprise me and win :nut. But i'm up for a bet anytime :deal cause I'm keeping my cents on Kessler.
ladies and gentlemen i present to you exhibit A.... 'the curious case of the missing brain AKA the thread starter'.. ahhh the old 'if fighter A beats fighter B then no way does A beat C' thing... see pavlik/taylor/hopkins for the proof of this.
