    I think he has toned it down, floyd is a sensitive insecure guy, you can just see it, very obvious.....not saying that in a derogatory way

    its pointless for a welterweight champ of several years to talk **** to a guy who fought at featherweight for 13 years , super featherweight for 1 year....and his last 2 fights at lightweight....this will be such a huge mismatch.......

    I think that Mayweather has just matured as a person. He seems to realise that he needs to be somewhat of a good guy now. Maybe if there is a Pacman fight he will revert to his bad boy image to get more to buy the fight

    Exactly what I was thinking. Because of all the people who dont know **** about boxing. Mayweather need to approach this fight a different way with the fans.

    people need to realise the business side of boxing. the guy is called 'money' and one of the reasons most yall dont like him is because he throws his money around. he did not 'mature as a person' or is 'scared of marquez' (who fights a guy youre scared of for a way smaller payslip?)

    with that said, everything may has done in his career in terms of publicity is geared towards making more money...EVERYTHING. he was hated by everyone in de lay hoya 24/7 because as a business man he knew that would work in bringing in more income (it did). so now hes being nicer because as ppl have pointed out, it just would be bad for business if he appears like a bully over the smaller fighter - and bad for rep.

    anyone remmber how he was in may/judah countdown? he was in thousand dollar suits and totally took up the good guy persona way more than with this 24/7, knowing that there needs to be at least one good guy and judah was never stepping outta the bad guy role.

    its all money and business.

    There's little to gain in trash talking to a guy who you know aint got a chance in hell of beating you.......that'll be almost as bad as dancing and showboating against old legend in the game who is 6/7 years past his best, who otherwise would have beat you to a pulp in his prime
