Tyson has more skill, a chin and experience to fall back on.

I dont see that much skill in this kid, he's fighting bums, of course he's going to look good. His chin has not been tested, so neither one of us knows for sure how well he can take a punch. I think your in for a big disappointment if your laying all your chips down on this guy, but thats just one mans opinion.

How can you tell you me about his chin from over the other side of the Atlantic? No offence, but over there you are no where near as informed about this guy as us Brits. I'm not 'laying down all my chips down' on him, but he's going to achieve more than Tye Fields ever did and he's a far superior fighter all-round.

Punisher has a point about his chin, Tommy. We really don't know how well he can take a punch.

I'd say for a seven fight novice, his oppo (barring the first and most recent ones) have been pretty good.

Hatton and Calzaghe didn't face anyone with a pulse until at least their tenth fight.

Which makes you wonder why promoters feel the need to pad a fighter's record like this. Teddy Atlas is not liked on this forum but he made a good point a few weeks back about experienced amateurs who are matched soft early in their careers and how it's detrimental to do so. If you have an amateur who's competed at a high level he will have faced far better opposition than the 10 cans he's likely to be fed when he turns pro.

I can't wait for this big, lanky, fat mouthy ***** to get a beating.

As much as I hate John McDermott, I hope he puts Fury on his pikey ass.

    Nice guy.

    Down to Earth.

    Hope he does well.

    Untested at this point.

The 'hate' comments on here say little of interest from a boxing stance, but speak volumes about the personalities of the posters.

Have you actually read any of the comments he's come out with?
