Yup, it got reported both here and in the British forum at the time.

Sultan Ibragimov would be the best opponent by a mile I think, because the performance could be compared with Wlad's, and that one fight ago he was a world champion. I don't expect that though, maybe it could be his second fight. I'd expect Rahman, Toney, or Maskaev, none of whom are a top pick for me, but all of whom are decent choices.

Did he not count himself as undisputed because Mormeck would have held the IBF if he or Bell hadn't been stripped of it without losing it in the ring? ...(Yes, Bell won it when it was vacant, but was then stripped when he waited to rematch Mormeck after beating him the first time.)

Correct. Same situation applies with Kelly Pavlik at middleweight, who I would also consider the undisputed champion despite him only actually holding two belts.

Toney and Barrett are shot, Barrett even got stopped by Cliff Couser recently and defeating Tye Fields doesn't erase that. Yes Maskaev is past his prime too but he's as good an opponent as any of those guys bar Eddie Chambers.

Haye would have been better served to have said less and fought more. He could of dispatched a couple of fringe guys and built some momentum.

At this point I have a feeling he's going to pick someone who doesn't warrant all the wait and words from Haye.

Who is the guy in the picture under your name? Is it Ben Tackie - Hattons opponent a few years back?

It's looking like it's either Rahman or Maskaev, Haye is looking too hard for the easiest, more profitable option, and, because of that big mouth of his, starting to sound like a chicken in the process.

He should fight Fraudley Harrison. They both live in the same town and might actually knock each other out. Two birds with one stone.

  14. I think if he fight Wlad, Haye will beat him.
