Im not sure on him and havent ever been....i still feel Oscar boxed his ears off till he listened to Gil and ran for the last 4 rounds, and despite that i still thought Oscar won......Im not hating on Tito i just sometimes think he is slightly over rated....opinions:rasta

He was a cheater. He punched guys in the balls a lot and his hand wraps were questionable. I hate him on a personal level.

Look at DLH whole career and Tito's whole career and not just the matchup and you might reconsider what you just said. Remember almost all DLH main victories where Titos as well before DLH himself.:D

Absolutely. I saw it with my own two eyes. Tito had to weaken Vargas with the low blows in order to win that fight. Plus who knows what Tito had stashed away in those gloves of his.

Tito should be shunned by the boxing community. If you want boxing to be seen as a legitimate sport this is what must be done.

trinidad is one of the greatest predators i've ever seen. incredible power, great instincts, mechically brilliant.

on the downside what he did to vargas is unforgivable (that was vargas' best performance and he was well on his way to at least a competitive loss or quite possibly a career defining win) and the oscar "win" was horse ****.

for me, one of the most brilliant fighters of the modern era, at least of the last 20 years, and a joy to watch.

Are people forgetting Vargas low blow Trinidad twice, one as the bell rung and Trinidad did not complain but one of the commentators caught it and mentions it and also the one he eventually got deducted a point:bart

there's no such thing as too many mexicans getting whooped. I love that ****. but I'd still rather see the cheaters like Tito get whooped.

He's one of the greats. At 147-154

Oh and Oscar ran because he didn't want to be hit- he NEVER listens to his corner so I don't buy it. Tito barely hit clean and Oscar's eye was swollen:thumbsup

From the HBO telecast I watched, I never heard Clancy tell DLH to run.

From what the cameras showed, Clancy said "box, box, box" and Alcazar said "make sure they know you won the round".

DLH said he was tired, he was using his legs a lot, but I still thought he won the fight.

As far as Trinidad being overrated, well it all depends on who is doing the rating.
