The Malignaggi/Diaz fight was a criminal disgrace! Damned judges.

When Malignaggi had his string of mediocre performances and his loss to Hatton I used to think that Urango could eventually walk Malignaggi down and knock him the **** out by the middle rounds... but seeing Paulie's revival against Diaz I'm starting to see that his speed would probably trouble Urango too much and he'd end up winning a wide UD.

And while Paulie seems to be on the upside of things, Juan has seemingly taken a step backward because that was the worst version of Urango I've ever seen against Bailey. Juan was doing some good things as of late; walking his oppoenents down and getting close before opening up with his hooks, working the body more effeciently, and even showing a little bit of head movement... but with Bailey he was slower than **** and he was swinging wildly from the outside with nothing but crude, wide powerpunches. I'm sorry Juanito, but that kind of style is not going to get it done against a world class, speedy boxer like Malignaggi.

 

That would be an interesting fight. I'd pick Malignaggi by decision. Paulie could still be a two-time abc titlist. That would look awfully nice on the resume. For Hatton and Cotto too.

 

I like Urango, he's a really humble guy. And he's Colombian so that helps >_>. But yeah he's very slowww... He needs to be smarter when he has someone hurt, I mean he's already wild as hell, once he hurts his opponent it gets over the top.
