Who is the woman in the avatar? Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Void is void. Cotto is good fighter, but Void refuses to fight him. Void also refused to fight Pac, Mosley and Margarito.

    .

Mayweather is coming back from a 2 year lay off cutting weight to 140 would not be the smartest thing to do, especially if you want to feel comfortable in the ring after a long lay off.

Mayweather last two fights have been at 147 and 154, after a 2 year lay off you want him to come in at 140:rofl If you was my manager I would fire you:hi:

Mayweather has already done this by dropping the weight to 144 and not 147, why does he need to copy Oscar's method.

Also Pac is making Cotto drop 2 pounds, yet pac has already fought at 147 against a bigger guy:huh Something seems fishyy about that:rofl

Pac ****ed up Cotto big time to. He knows Cotto struggles with weight and he making him cut weight while asking for the man's title as well. And you dare to talk about Mayweather. LOL

Simple fact is if Mayweather asked Dela Hoya to fight at 152 for Oscar's title at 154 all hell would have broke loose in this forum. everyone would have called mayweather a *****:rofl
    But because it's Pac it's cool right:good
    .

You are just a hater who wants to see Mayweather lose before you die:rofl

    Cotto W12 Mosley
    Cotto W12 Clottey
    Cotto TKO 11 Judah
    'lost' to magarito?
    Cotto TKO 5 Quintana
    Cotto TKO 11 Urkal

All top ten welters that Cotto has fought . I dont really see the controversy in the Clottey fight. Clottey didnt do enough, period.

And if Mosleys such a superior fighter why did Cotto handle him with relative ease.

Pac has fought at 147 albeit against a shot opponent, but he's destroyed the #1 at 140 and Cotto is dropping down a few lbs that might make a difference. I don't criticize Mayweather for fighting Marquez as much as others though. It's still a tough fight.

I also believe that Mayweather can not fight comfortably at 140 anymore (that was EZE's contentions that he could make it easily at 140), bbut asking someone who barely wet his toes at 135 (and struggled in it) to go to 144 is just a one sided affair, unless you are one of those who believe that gaining weight is easier than losing weight.

If you believe that Pac ****ed up Cotto big time by asking him to come down 1 pound less than his last weigh-in with 3 months of training time to do it, then so be it. You are entitled to your opinion.

But asking someone to jump 9 pounds while just dropping 3 pounds is not the same as asking someone to drop 1 pound while going up 5 pounds (this again depends on whether you see Pac as a 140 pounder or a 147). No one is asking for Cotto's title. WBO rules that as long as the fight is held at that division (btw a welter fight is 141-147 range) and the champion is fighting, then the belt is on the line. If the champion does not want to pay the sanctioning fees, then he will be stipped of his title and declared vacant. Many misinformed posters here assumed that it was Pac's requirement in the fight, when it is actually an SOP (standard operating procedure). It was more of Cotto bitching by not willing to pay the sanctioning fee that made the fuss, but other than that, whether he wants to put his belt on line is not his call, but WBO who owns the belt.

The only thing that Mayweather copied in Hoya is fighting a fighter who fights at least 2 divisions below them. At least Hoya tried to even the fight by agreeing to fight at 147. He asked Pac to jump 2 divisions up, he 1 division down. On hindsight, that was foolish and most of the posters agreed that it was a joke.

I don't actually believe this but you know what he did it anyway. And he did it for a reason!!!!!!!!

Im sorry Pac fought Dela Hoya at 147. If you gonna use that method of analysis then surely Mayweather who fought at 154 against delahoya in theory had to drop 7 pounds to fight Hatton at 147, while Hatton fought Castillo at 140 moved up 7 pounds to fight mayweather for his title, so there is no pound difference in that fight if we use your theory of analyzing weight.

Yet people still complained about Floyd being a *****.

    You see the double standard:nono

It's simple, Cotto is going into a fight that most think he will LOSE. Mayweather on the other hand is going into a fight most think he CAN'T LOSE, :D

You cannot use what De La Hoya did with Pac because De La Hoya was a Middleweight so he had to drop down to Welterweight , Do you think if De La Hoya was a Weltereight he would have dropped to Light Welterweight ? Pacquiao like Marquez have been around a while and would not have agreed to fight at a weight they did not think they could make with no probs ?

I dont think there is much between Marquez and Pacquiao ( If we could go back in time before DLH and Hatton , I would be interested to see peoples predictions on Pacquiao vs Marquez 3 ? )

As I said before I like all four Boxers and I am totally neutral not biased towards any of them BUT the reason Mayweather is such a favourite is because he would be favourite against ANYONE ?

The ONLY question is how rusty is he ?

Because Cotto has proven he is willing to fight the best. Mayweather retires everyyear to avoid being called out and to have the luxury of handpicking smaller opponents.
