How confident are you guys in Fury?

I'm a fan of Fury and have been since I watched his first pro fight. But McMuffin ain't no pushover and has been 12 rounds with Williams. Fury's chin is untested and no seems to be able to work his body.

I'm slightly concerned that this is a step too far for Fury so soon.

    :-(

Fury seems to think a lot of himself and doesn't seem to think too much of McDermott so, by his reckoning, it should be a walk in the park. The reality could be very different though as this will be the first opponent he's been in with who isn't their simply to try and avoid getting knocked out. He's actually been 24 rounds with Williams and this could very well end in humiliation for Fury.

I meant to say 12 rounds with Williams twice, but I was doing something else at the time.

The one thing to look forward to with this fight is at least Mcdermott will hit Fury back. Something nobody has done yet

Mcmuffin beat Williams twice so this fight should be good. Fury I think will win because Williams is nothing to gauge a fighter by.

Anyway it should be McFlury vs McMuffin. Fury is fat himself.

I see Tyson winning. Stoppage in later rounds and a lively after fight interview i suspect.

There's no way you can have McDermott winning both fights v Williams.
The second fight Williams clearly won and the first fight I felt most peoples outrage at the decision was caused by Jim Watts biased commentating.

Watt was giving credit to McDermott for literally nothing, the best he was doing most of the time was being extremely ineffective with the jab where as Williams was at least landing some meaningful shots(only in singles though) throughout the contest. The points deductions from Williams were bollocks too.

Sky have always felt the need to hype fatty, for some reason. Before his ankle collapsed through sheer stress of carrying his blubber and the Skelton debacle, they were trying to give him the big build up.

To be honest I can not remember the fights. All I can remember is McMuffin doing nothing but look **** scared until he realised Williams was a bag of wank and then carry on doing very little. I think similar happened in the second which is a real shame because John could have won the fights if he had some heart.

    Watt is Jonny Nelsons nemesis.
