Pajos opponent looks alright......went 12 rounds with Cyril Thomas, and was in the ring with Choi Tseveenpurev, Nicky Cook, Rendal Munroe, he is 30-10-2 with 16kos.
and i can see the fight between Jamie Power and Michaeal Sweeney stealing the fight of the night, its a step up for both boxers..

Paddy dominated round 3 and landed body shots for fun, plus he landed some head shots and didnt get a single point in that round. That was a bloody disgrace in terms of scoring, so I have some sympathy for Barnes. That said, he isnt the first, nor will he be the last boxer, to get stiffed with points in amateur boxing and needs to control himself better in the future. I hope he turns pro now.

Willie McLoughlin has the heart of a lion !

3-0 down after the first, floored in the second and still down 5-2.
Came back in the 3rd to win 7-5, his opponent did get a 2 point warning but it was more than deserved for the roughhouse tactics he was employing.

Great stuff from Willie, any Irishman watching that will be very proud of him.
He had to battle the judges like many of our other fighters who've been knocked out, but unlike them Willie got the better of it in the end and showed true grit and determination aswell as a cool head to pull it out.

Egan's on now btw, 3-1 up after the first.

Egan 8-7 up after the 2nd.

I'm a bit worried now......he could lose this.

No need to worry, Egan gives a very classy display in the 3rd winning 16-7 and flooring his opponent with a short right hook.

Interesting to note Kenny scored with both a jab and a body shot in this fight.
Good display from Kenny in the end, he was a lot sharper in that last round and picked off his man brilliantly.
