Yeah JJN stays so tight in the first round to try and sneak a lead and after that he's truly world class, IMO. I know what Paddymickey is saying!
was watchin an interview with Paddy Barnes and he said that Nevin and Joyce never utter a word to each other. They will play each other on the X Box when "its their turn" but still never talk to each otehr and they stay on opposite side of a room whenever possible. Must be ****in weird goin away to a tournament with that kind of atomosphere floatin about the whole time.
Dunne card is looking good, hopefully Fury will be added although two weeks after a fight with McDermott....I wouldn't count on it.
Jaysus that is a bit mad if its true. I know its easy to say they should both be focused on the job and just get on with it etc.. etc... but anyone who has been involved with any sport where a team travels away together knows what kind of effect that kind of atmosphere can have on the individuals involved and the camp as a whole
I know he's won now but the Mongolian fighter wouldn't have had too much major international experience I suspect considering the Olympic Gold medalist, and Silver medalist at the World's in Chicago is from Mongolia(and is injured). If you remember Badar-Uugan actually beat Nevin on the way to winning the Olympics. So outside of fighting Badar Uugan the Mongol wouldn't have fought too many great fighters. Still a win over Luke Campbell proved he had some quality about him. Nevin fought fantastic and deserved his win. I had forgot about Geraghty, he's been the surprise for us at these World's Championships. He would of been regarded as one of the weakest Irish squad before these Championships began, that opinion may have to be revised. Hopefully O'Neil and Geraghty are successful tomorrow, would give us a great chance of picking up some medals.

If you get up to the 02 early you might be able to get a spot on the quay just outside the 02. I have previously parked in the Jurys carpark which is fairly close to the 02 but you need to be careful with these hotels carparks as they close at around midnight......
I had a look online to check what tickets are left for both the Dunne card and the Rogie card. At present you cannot purchase a ticket online via ticketmaster for the Rogie fight? Is it sold out? I was surprised that you can still get 60 euro tickets for the Dunne card, the cheapest tickets were 50 euros, I thought the 60 euro tickets would have been snapped up as well by now...
i got mine for 90 last week and i'm in row 15 which surprised me i thought at this stage i'd be way back.
The 60 euro tickets are almost sold out I think, I tried to buy 8 earlier today on Ticketmaster but it was only allowing me to buy 5.
there is a video on youtube type nevin mcdonaghs joyce.....think its there two families in a series of bare knuckle fights think thats whrçere the animosity comes from
What time are the two lads on today ?, for some reason the draw sheet on AIBA.org isn't working for me.
