    mosley>vernon forrest>mayorga>spinks>zab>baldomir>floyd>vacated>margarito>paul williams>quintana

actually margarito to quintana is the wbo belt... but it was a similar pattern

One of Paul's biggest advantages (other than being 6'2) is that he is a southpaw. He didn't have that advantage against Quintana...And didn't adjust properly.

Quintana fought the BEST fight of his career...while Paul fought the worst fight of his career....And Quintana won by decision against a kid still learning the ART OF BOXING.

After making the proper adjustments in the REMATCH...WHAT HAPPENED?...or did you bothered to watch that REMATCH?????

And then added 13lbs fought and Shut-out Winky at 160lbs.

    SO YEAH....BRING ON PAVLIK!!!!

    yeah it is bugged out..
whats crazy is the belt is pretty much literally handed down fight by fight... cept for maybe 1 or 2 fights where there was like 1 or 2 stay busy fights in between

What is with you and Cotto? You just leave Cotto's dick don't you? It's sad since you have nothing else on Cotto, especially after the man he lost to was banned after having plaster... which was proven to be used before.

    Damn fellas!

Ya'll really didn't read the thread, huh?

WWMe was giving the rundown of the passing of the belt of Paul Williams in recent times.

But I might agree that VACATED is Greater than Margorito But Less than Floyd...:rofl:lol:

If you watched this fight without seeing his othe performances then I could agree with your stance, but that fight between Paul and Carlos the first go round was NOT the Paul Williams I knew. That version of Paul was slow, slugglish and less accurate. The rematch spoke volumes if you were able to catch that one.

Great post. That first Quintana fight was a big time learning experience for Williams. People on here always say that fighters shouldn't be afraid to lose and should challenge themselves. But then when they do lose, no one wants to let it go. I'm not saying the Quintana fight should be forgotten, but any fighter trying to look at that fight as a blueprint to beating Williams may be in for a rude awakening.
