Haye likes to get his opponents out of there nice and early so his fans can catch the last train home. Along with his innactivity in '09 that's the reason behind the round shortage. I'm not complaining, I'll take a highlight real stoppage in round 2 over a 12 round 'boxing clinic' from Money May.

It hasn't been debunked at all. There was no PPV in the UK for the Klitschko fight btw (Valuev fight is on PPV however).

If you're going to make something up, probably best not to put quote marks around it and mis-represent something as a verbatim quote.

don't have the time or patience, already sifted through enough ... if you want to disprove it, you're more then welcome.

How do you disprove a quote that someone has made up?

I think you've actually mis-interpreted statements that he did make about not wanting to fight past the age of 31 (I think). I don't remember anything about fighting 3 or 4 times a year. He said specifically straight after the Maccarinelli fight that he would be aiming to build bulk steadily and not fighting again until the end of 2008.

Everybody fights often in their first couple of pro years.
Comparing activity against world class competition would be more telling.

Tyson had many periods of inactivity trough out he’s career.
His last five pro years he fought only 5 times.

Haye's inactivity really bugs me, and thats coming from a Haye fan. For a man who is obviously very talented and physically gifted, and an exciting fighter to boot, he really should be doing more.

I know he's in boxing for the money really but to accomplish that and sort his future he should have just smashed his way through 3/4 opponents a year when he started at HW.

I know he wouldnt be making a huge sum, but having a handful of fights for a moderate paycheck a year must surely be better than getting one big one every two years?

It would be great for his resume to have another few HW's on it, all with KO's after their name.

Seriously, if I were him I would have taken fights to settle into the weight, keep sharp, and keep the cash coming in.

Yeah all haye has done is blow hot air deffinately not fresh... Bitched out of two fights to fight the weakest titleholder in recent memory.. Hell when is the last time this man has backed up any of the shitt he has talked? i like my " breath of fresh airs" to be man enough to fight the people they are calling out... or at least step in the ring more then once a year... :deal

A note to Haye fans who like to throw undisputed around he never was undisputed...:deal .. well maybe the undisputed king of talking shitt and not backing it up..... He never was undisputed at cruiser... if and it is a big if he beats valuev he has to fight Ruiz then Chagaev... then maybe meehan.. but really the klits offered a bad contract having to fight both brothers like he said were the only two fights that mattered at heavy and the only two he wanted but hey you cant take anything haye says at face value...

Haye is a spotlight *****! Suddenly he got so unusually quiet... Guess he just found out things were getting serious with the Klits! Only when i see Haye standing face to chest with Valuev, i believe this fight will happend
