Pavlik/Williams: December 5th; Arum says it's a go!

    Sad thing is, it really isn't that hard to cut through the **** to the truth a lot of times but people would rather hang onto their preconceived notions.

    Williams is a fighter against whom Pavlik can, and will, make the jab/right hand work, and that is never good news for an opponent. Anytime Pav makes the double jab/right hand work consistenly, the fight ends a round or two later.

    PW is NOT faster than JT, and that means two things: 1, Willy cannot win a jabbing contest, or stop Pavlik from turning large portions of many rounds into a jabbing contest; a contest Pavlik wins. 2, Pavlik can, and will, effectively counter williams repeatedly.

    Miranda, who has a shitload of power, was not able to get any respect from Pavlik. Williams won't get any either. Paul is not capable of the kind of footwork Hopkins used, nor does PW have the power to keep Pav from coming forward firing hard with both hands. If you can't make Pavlik respect you, and you can't stay completely out of his way for 12 rounds, you are going to get knocked the **** out.

    How this fight plays out depends a lot on PW's fight plan. Peterson has stated several times that Paul will go to war with Kelly, and knock him out. Ya, right - - the best LHW in the world used Kelly's head for a speed bag for 12 rounds, and barely made a dent in him, but Willy is gonna knock him out. If Peterson is as delusional as he appears to be, this fight is over in 5 rounds. If Peterson is just throwing up a smokescreen, and they come in with a smart plan to use a lot of movement and win rounds, It might last into the 10th or 11th. Williams will not finish on his feet. This could end up being one of those fights where one man wins the boxing match, but the other man wins the damn fight!

    I wont care about this until I see the weigh-in. Pavlik is too emotionally unstable and his immune defense is run down I think. I hope he will box again, but I wanna see it to believe it.

    What are you talking about? Dude has one loss. And I honestly thought he looked sick before the Hopkins fight, but screw the excuses. He lost. Please enlighten me as to when he ever used a medical excuse.
