Pacman vs. Mayweather will not happen at 50/50 Split..... Neither will budge on this and we wont get Mayweather vs. Pacman until late 2010 if that......

I believe that Cotto will do us all a favor on Nov. 14th! By Cotto defeating Pacman, he will go back down to 140 where he is still top dawg and fight Mayweather and it will be Mayweater 60 vs. Pacman 40 which is fair....

    Thoughts?

If Cotto beats Pac shouldn't you want to see fraud against Cotto instead of Pac or are you another one of his groupies who just wants to see fraud getting paid way more than he deserves.

everyone wants to see floyd beat because he's widely recognised as the best P4P fighter....how can you say he doesnt "deserve" what hes garnered the notoriety for 10 times over?

part of floyd's appeal when he fights is that he hasn't made the best opponent choices post-gatti.

people want to see the best lose...don't give me this 'fanboi' crap just because you dont like him.

no its part of his notoriety. people hate that he can talk a big game and still do that..and they are right.

but it works in floyd's favour come fight night.

I have been wanting to see Cotto against Mayweather since Cotto beat Mosley. But i wouldnt mind seeing Pacquiao against Mayweather. The hard thing is making the fight which we all know how its going to go........

    1. Neither will budge? - Arum already said Pac will fight for 50/50.
    2. If Cotto beats Pac, Floyd/Pac will not happen.

If Cotto beats Pac the most likely thing to happen is a rematch.

:good Immediate rematch clause is in the contract. A rematch has to be Cotto's next fight, unless Pac decides he doesn't want the rematch.

Not really a Mayweather Groupie... I am pretty much even on all fighters. Now I know this... even with Cotto dominating Pacman.... Cotto vs. Mayweather wouldnt be bigger than Pacman vs. Mayweather.

Plus... we know PBF wouldnt go to 147 for Cotto....

If Cotto beats Pac, Floyd will say there is no point in fighting Pac - He won't do it. If Pac wins the rematch, then it may happen.

PBF is already fighting at 147 - he's coming down to 144 to fight Marquez.

I have no desire to see Pac-Mayweather if Pac loses to Cotto...If Cotto wins than I would rather see Cotto-Mayweather!

The winner of Cotto-Pac should definitely be the next logical opponent for a mayweather clash.
