Pacquiao Era ??? Thats one of the most asinine statements i've ever read, I honestly think that the only way possible for you to think Pacquiao is a "Great" fighter is if you only watched his last three fights, and you only listened to people like Brian Kenny, Larry Merchant, Kevin Lole, Freddie Roach lol , I seen these two lil weirdos on yahoo answers the other day talking convo went like this

*** 1 :Who do you think the closest to be the next manny pacquiao if he retires from boxing?regardless of nationality?

*** 2 : There will never be another Manny Pacquiao, like there will never be another Michael Jordan. Lets just let all these other boxers make a name for themselves. And maybe in the future, we might have a similar conversation on who will be the next

IF you knew anything about boxing you'd slap yourself for even saying something like Pacquiao era. :patsch

Yeah, it says in his book that he said in Sturm's ear after the fight he thought Sturm won.

Pac took 3 tuneups in a row since his last toughest fight...

Depends really on how his opponents fare against him.

Pac has had his share of tuneups or stay-busy fights since he burst on the scene against MAB.

    Barrera
    Marquez
    3k Battery
    Morales
    Hector Velasquez
    Morales
Oscar Larios (only a tuneup fight by Pacquiao's standards)
    Morales
    Jorge Solis
    Marquez
    Barrera
    David Diaz
    ODLH
    Hatton
    Cotto

is it really absurd to call this era "The Pacquiao Era". I mean he is THE Fighter of the DECADE.

 Right, because fighting a past prime B level fighter coming off a loss is not a tune up for any other elite.
