it looked real to me, but the sparring partners was obviously not top notch. Floyd was trying to punish him not knock him out.

They're bums... the one time Floyd faced a solid sparring parner in Carlos Baldomir he was shown crawling on his hands and knees afterward.

im not saying its fake, i just think the sparring partners are bums, ive never seen floyd do that to anyone in the ring WITHOUT head gear, is questionable.

I understand the so-called need, but in general it seems really lame that they won't let the cameras film a ****ing lousy sparring session. There's this whole other side to Mayweather that's downright feminine.

what the **** difference does it make if they have head gear on?? Have you ever boxed before?? I have had my nose and lips busted up with head gear on... especially if the guy was better than me.

and why is it bull**** he doesn't want people filming his sparring sessions... im sure he has a gameplan for the fight, why reveal it??

thats like saying its bull**** that a football team doesn't let their scrimmages get taped and shown to the other team..

difference is the busted sparring partner seems to be proud of the bloody mess, not even hurt and all smiles.

I guess they use as an intimidation tool for his opponents. I feel that it is staged though.

The guys they bring in against Floyd in camp arent of a high caliber.

Add to that, Floyd HANDLES sparring partners.

I've seen the guy in Top Rank gym, out of Vegas, a few years ago. One of the cruelest and hardest guys to spar I've seen. He takes the rookies they feed him apart.

probly because theres no shame in getting busted up by the best fighter in the world and sparring with floyd is an honor and great story he can tell for the rest of his life.

just because he was bloody does not mean he was "hurt"

that script would have been convincing if PBF spar with bare hands.

his know was bloody, it happens in boxing.. what you want him to mope around because he got his nose busted sparring the best fighter in the world. not to mention the feeling you get after sparring and/or a fight is definately a good one...
